Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to share an update...I'll get around to filling out my timeline

Nov 12- Sent Concurrent I485,I130,I765,I131 filing via USPS (overnight)

Nov 13 - Received at Chicago Lockbox

Nov 20 - Noticed pending charges on husband's credit cards for filing fees

Nov 21- Received Text messages with 4 Case Numbers!

Now I'm just waiting for the hard copies and the biometrics letter. Hope everyone is well :)

Finally have an update to share. Biometrics appointment is Dec.4. Filed on Oct.25. Last contact was Nov.7 when NOAs were received by mail so I was starting to get a bit antsy.

Received biometrics appointment today. Dec 2nd. I filed nov 4th, received notice of arrivals for my forms on November 16th.
PLEASE NOTE. PLEASE NOTE

1. I called uscis this morning to ask about biometrics appointment. The rep informed me that he saw no letters or anything sent out to me.
2. He said he’d assume I won’t be scheduled for an appointment until after the holidays and I wouldn’t get a letter before then.
3. I have the informed delivery app, so meanwhile he was assuring me there was no letter sent out to me I was already looking at a picture of the mail in the app

4. case status hasn’t been updated. Still says fingerprint fee received.

my advice? Get the informed delivery app. Sometimes the reps aren’t sure of the notices mailed out. I’m happy and thankful I’m at the next step. Thank you God

I also have my biometrics scheduled! Notice date was Nov 15 but I received my letter Nov 22. Appointment scheduled for Dec 6 at 10am! I know the real wait starts after the biometrics but I can't help but be excited :)

Our field office is almost 3 hours away so we'll have to leave early. If I miss this appointment, I will go insane.

Concurrent filing of 485, 130, and 765 (AOS from tourist visa)

My appointment is at 10am too. Good thing my field office is not even 30 mins away. I’m always late for everything but if I’m late that day my husband would spit fire lol

Hello, hope this is helpful...filed Oct.23, used FedEx, received at Chicago Lockbox on Oct.25. Filing fees show processed Nov.7 and received our NOAs and receipts in mail Nov.12. Next step is they send notification of my biometrics appointment.

This is ridiculous, I filed Oct 12th and they received Oct 14th. They didn't send NOA until Nov 15th. How are they getting mine before yours yet process yours first? Still had no notification of biometrics. So much for first come first serve.

When did you file? Notice date for me was Nov 15th but no online update of appointment being scheduled.

There is not a single line.

It's like standing in line at the supermarket when there are a dozen cashiers.  Some lanes moves faster than others.

I see, i’m just very frustrated and confused. Its been 6 weeks since filing for myself and no biometrics scheduled, seeing others receive biometrics after three weeks on various sites when they filed at the same time.
Making an already stressful situation even worse and gives me no hope that things are moving in the right direction.

I filed Nov 1 (received on the 4th). There's no online update for me about the appointment but I got the letter today.

My understanding is that there are many factors such as which office/staff member has your case, their workload etc. There are processing times posted for various offices and from what I see the times vary greatly. As well with the fee increases they are facing a huge influx I imagine.  I tend to view the information shared here as a guideline and I'm happy for others as they progress along...

Don’t get me wrong I'm pleased for others progress but I've lost all faith in the administration process.

I’ve realised they sent out my i485 NOA to the wrong address, they made a typing error on the address leading to it being sent to an address that didn't exist. This was sent out on 22 Oct, however I didn't receive until the 15th Nov. I have still not received my biometrics now four weeks after the original NOA was sent out. I now believe this is now another administration error which means by the time I receive my appointment letter it will already have passed.

I contacted USCIS and they confirmed they have the right address on file, this was just an error.

Can’t put into words how frustrated I am.

Is there any way to call them and find out your biometrics appointment date? It seems likely that they sent it to the wrong address again.
