I got my courtesy letter today! I was really worried we'd get another RFE but we're good. My field office (Ft. Smith) is very slow so I'm not expecting an interview anytime soon. Now I just have to wait for the EAD ☹️

 

Concurrent filing of 485, 130, and 765 (AOS from tourist visa)
25.05.19 - Arrival in US
31.07.19 - Married on a B2 visa
01.11.19 - Filed packet with USPS
04.11.19 - Forms received and signed for
13.11.19 - Checks cashed and notified by text
18.11.19 - NOA1 for the 3 forms received in the mail (Notice date 13.11.19)
22.11.19 - Biometrics letter received (Notice date 15.11.19)

06.12.19 - Biometrics appointment complete

03.01.20 - RFIE for I-485 mailed

Interview was a bit after noon today and status changed to 'new card is being produced'! Never received EAD/AP card.

Had interview yesterday and was approved! Was left for review at the end of interview but was told would be approved. By time got back to the car online status changed to card is being produced.

RFIE received : 01/16/2020 ( i864 missing W2)

RFIE letter received : 01/21/2020

RFIE Replied : 01/25/2020

RFIE Rec’d by uscis notice : 01/28/2020
Case ready to be scheduled : 02/04/2020

 

no news on EAD.

The way they are processing EAD’s is getting ridiculous though and inadvertently making others pay more for the process financially. Really feel for people from Aug, Sept & Oct who still don’t have the chance to make an income, and have lost out on thousands due to an inconsistent processing time.

I was really not expecting any news from uscis for a while after interview ready to be scheduled. I feel the inconsistency is due to either the IO or the documents sent with the application. I sent them all the w2s as well as irs transcripts but they still sent me an RFIE for the same. No idea how uscis works to be honest.

Ah I was not able to find the November AOS work based filings and here it is.

 

Let me re-add it here as I had it in the December thread

 

Timeline:

Filed: 21 November 2019

First NOA: 22 November 2019

BIO Appt: 18 December 2019

Transferred to NBC: 23rd December 2019

 

Wife and I already have combined EAD/AP and that was super quick for some reason but I'm not complaining. My local field office is DC which seems super slow and I'm only seeing April 2019 filers getting alerts about interview ready to be scheduled. Last alert I had was transfer to NBC and no new updates since

L1-B & L2 to AOS (EB3 skilled)

Northern Virginia (DC Office)

22nd November 2019: NOA1 received

18th December 2019: Biometrics completed

23rd December 2019: Transferred to NBC

28th February 2020: Ready for interview

3rd March 2020: i-797C stating interview scheduled for April 7th

<--- Interviews cancelled due to Covid --->

20th October 2020 - i-797C stating permanent residence approved (Welcome to the United States of America)

31st October 2020 - Both green cards in hand!

11/18/2019 - Received hard copies of the NOAs (I-797C) for the 3 forms with a notice date of 11/13/2019

11/29/2019 - Received NOA for biometrics appointment on 12/13/2019 (notice date: 11/22/2019)

12/13/2019 - Biometrics done and case updated saying fingerprints were taken (text notification)

1/16/2020 - Case updated saying my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview

2/13/2020 - Case updated saying interview was scheduled

2/14/2020 - Case updated saying EAD card is being produced

2/18/2020 - Case updated saying I-765 was approved (104 days)

2/19/2020 - Case updated saying EAD card was mailed

2/21/2020 - EAD card received & notice of approval / Interview notice received for 3/26/2020

Super happy for everyone's updates!

My interview was scheduled and my EAD was approved - will get those notices in the mail next week probably. I'm flabbergasted. I was ready to be miserable for another 2 months minimum. Hopefully I can get my card soon because I hate not working.
