N400 and Traffic infraction/ Photo enforced school bus ticket?

Greetings, I recently came across the following situation:
I applied for my citizenship (N-400) back in October 2019. I've had my green card for 2 years but was admissible because of my military service (Since I'm currently serving in the Army as a logistician). A few days ago I received a photo enforced ticket from Bellevue school district with the King County District Court. Due to my vehicle failing to come to a full stop in a third lane going in the same direction as the bus. Since my wife and I drive the vehicle we called the clerks office and I was told that regardless of who did it, I either I needed to appeal and appear in court or just pay the fee since I was responsible (vehicle registered under my name). We decided to pay the fee on-line to settle the matter and since according to WA law a photo enforced traffic ticket is not considered a traffic moving violation, it is not considered and crime and this will not go in my driving record (in fact it is the same as parking ticket it is put on the vehicle's record) we thought it was ok to just pay it. Now my question is, will this incident come up in my interview, and does it show a lack of GMC?

It may or may not show. You just need to disclose it. No, it does not show a lack of GMC. Because yours truly (myself) had had about 6-7 speeding tickets before I was naturalized and they definitely did not care.

Hi @USS_Voyager Thank you for your prompt response it really puts my mind at ease with this whole mess. I will take the proof of payment of the ticket+ the notice of infraction to my interview. Congratulations on your approval.

My understanding is you don’t need to disclose such camera violations. YOU haven’t been cited, your car has been cited for violation and it came to the owner of vehicle who happens to be you. I bet this wouldn’t even come up during the interview.

Just disclose it. Will not affect anything.
