Yes you are very right . I am thinking to do the same.

Well its official . You cannot do ANYTHING to get a status update if you are in AP. Nothing. Myself, family members, spouse, everyone emailed and called and you get the same reply at all times, same exact line: " we will give you an update as soon we can, thanks" email and phone calls. Same thing. Just gonna chill out.

And please if anybody gets any update then please let me know. It will help people like me as well to understand their estimated time to reply

Hi Zebi,

my wife had an interview in June 2019 and there wasn’t any update on the case until we inquired after 90 days. They asked for additional docs which my wife had taken with her during the interview. I am not sure why they didn’t kept the docs during the interview. All in all, we are still in AP 6+ months. Hopefully, everyone gets a good update soon.

Why so many people here do not indicate at least their Embassies? Nor do their timelines?

I wonder if there are people here who are NOT from Pakistan, or India, or any MENA country where being in AP is somewhat understandable, but people from Europe like my husband, whose being placed in AP seems so rare...

Anyone from Europe here, helloooo?😯

It is quite rare.  Most of the ones I have seen for Europe are for people who were born in a MENA/high fraud country, or who hold dual citizenship with one.

I have seen people getting visa immediately from Pakistan too. Many cases in front of me when I went for interview. But when documents are missing as happend in my case then time can be taken. And we are unable to understand so much time the embassy is taking to review documents. That's making all frustrated.

You're in the Pakistan section lol. Search for your country-specific.  Good luck. Most common reason for AP is ...very similar name address history or simply the cap has been reached to give out visas for the certain categories and location of the country or even state.

They asked me for document on day of interview which I uploaded after one month due to certain reasons. Wish all of us a very good luck in sha Allah

Thank you for the reply but nowhere here it says that it is a section for Pakistan. The subforum is called Waivers and Administrative Processes, and the topic is Administrative SICK Processing. I wish there is France specific AP section but it does not exist. Nor does Europe AP section.

While I am sympathetic to all here suffering in the same « black hole » and while I am aware of the security based AP, my husband’s case is the missing document at the interview. The document which was not even on the list of required documents. Nevertheless the document was obtained electronically and submitted to the Embassy post-interview the same day. Yet now, 25 days later, the status has never changed, it remains the same  Administrative Processing.

The whole situation doesn’t make sense. I am at a loss and don’t know what to think as there’s impossible to find any explanation of why my husband is stuck and why the Paris Embassy treats us like this?
