What additional documents they asked you to upload? Did you give them your Police certificate/s ?

They may already have reviewed the documents.  Then, the administrative processing is the extensive additional security checks for applicants from Pakistan.  That would be for ALL males and many females.  If you have a very common name, it will take longer, even up to a year, or more.

As others noted, this would be more common than not to have an extended period of AP due to background checks with Pakistan. It's just a long waiting period.

If any documents expire while waiting (e.g. the medical is only valid for 6 months and is likely to expire here), they will contact you when they are ready to proceed and you will need to provide new documents at that time.
