Same Day Passport: Who Has Done This Recently?

Other than very expensive if you use a service it can be done. Any your only going to get same day in big cities, LA, Chicago, New York, etc. The fastest I know to do it reasonably cheap is to do it yourself at an actual service center for us passports. They are scattered around the US, and you are probably within a 6 hour drive of one. Google "Express passport renewal", and follow the steps from the actual department of state website. Even then in anyway shape or form, thru them, or a service, you are going to need proof of international travel within the next 7 days. As long as you can prove that, you can do it yourself for about 200 bucks plus travel expenses to get to the office, or pay a service a minimum of 500 dollars to do it for you. Even then for same day you have to be in a large city where their office is located. Fastest I have seen done is about 3 days. 2 if you next day air it back to yourself.

Here on a K1? Need married and a Certificate in hand within a few hours? I'm here to help. Come to Vegas and I'll marry you Vegas style!!   Visa Journey members are always FREE for my services. I know the costs involved in this whole game of immigration, and if I can save you some money I will!

Well, it's either the SAME day or 2-3 days. Same day is what I need. I plan on going to a service center.

If you go to the service center near you, if you make an appointment early In the morning, you can sometimes pick up the passport later that day, but most of the time they next day air it to your address. It might be different at each service center.
