California Visa Service Center does not process I-130 for spouse of US Citizen???

Hi, our case was sent to California Service Center in 2017 as my spouse was a green card holder in that time. In August 2019, my spouse became US Citizen via naturalisation and our case was approved on 10th September 2019. It’s been 2 months now and we have not heard from NVC regarding our case number. Through my research , I quickly found that the California Service Center do not process I-130 for spouse of US Citizen, does that mean that our case needs to be transferred to a different Service Center? If so , how do we process the transfer should we call them? They have advise the turnaround time for transfer is up to 90 days max. However I am worry that our case is in the wrong service center. Please can someone kindly advise?

Your petition is approved,  nothing further is required

60 to 90 days to hear from NVC is not unusual

YMMV

Nothing for you to do except wait for the case to be transferred to the NVC.  Give it another month.

Thank you so much

That doesn't matter, as long as they send it to NVC, it's all the same.

Have you called the NVC and asked if they received the case?

There is no California Visa Service Center. The only (official/government) visa center in the US is the National Visa Center (NVC). Visas are handled by the Department of State (DOS). USCIS is part of the Department of Homeland Security. They handle the petition.

CSC does not generally handle I-130s for an immediate relative of a US citizen. As noted, they handle family preference cases, such as those with an LPR petitioner. However, they can handle petitions from an LPR who later became a US citizen, or they may transfer it to another service center.

Either way, you said yours was approved already. So it just needs to get to NVC and get into the system there. Wait for the welcome letter.

Good luck.

How about same problem but we don't get approved until now from USCIS
