Received a notice from the NVC on the completion of my Case and to wait for an interview date.

Its been since 4th September and still no show. NVC line goes to automatic machine and cuts off after all the long recorded speech. What other means do I contact the NVC to know when when the Case was actually sent to the US Embassy?

In the NVC letter, there should be a case number. Go to Ceac.state.gov to check your status. I think it’s immigrant visa status but it might be non immigrant visa status. One of them should work.

Its immigrant visa status. Thanks but I have already been doing that since 4th September. Its same thing about waiting for interview to scheduled with the Ghana Embassy. Everybody talking about 6-7weeks but mine is almost 9weeks

It’s been 9 weeks and 4 days since I received notice from NVC that they sent my petition to the US Embassy in Ghana. Just have to be patient. Does your status say Ready? If so, I would schedule an interview.

and I just realized yours is for the spousal visa so my info probably won’t be accurate since we are doing the K1 visa.

Yeah. K1 visa is a different ball game altogether.

Mine is for both CR-1 and IR-1

Keep calling NVC. My fiancé sometimes had to wait for 2-3hrs to get someone to pick up. Call nvc 9am US time. The wait is not as long as evening time. Also you don't have to schedule interview yourself. The embassy schedules the interview date for the CR1 visa. Good luck

I was hoping they scheduled All  Sept DQs for November interviews but I guess not because you’re also still waiting for an IL. Hopefully you get your IL this month for a DEC interview.

Knowing this I guess I won’t be getting an IL this month as I thought I would,  If they’re not even done scheduling September DQ.

so sad, this wait sucks we’ll all get through it eventually. 😔

My CC Oct 2nd. And the waiting continues.

good luck.
