Interview schedule Stockholm

Hi, 

 

So once the documents left NVC to Embassy and it's time for medical and the interview. Is it possible to schedule the time for the interview, or will the embassy pick a time? Or does it depend on the embassy it self? I'm looking info more for the Stockholm embassy.

K1 is booked yourself. Not CR1, for CR1 you get an interview letter with an assigned date on it

Anyway, is it possible to reschedule that appointment?  

Just thinking as I live really far North and I need to make all my way Down to Stockholm, either 2-3 hour flight or 20 hours in car/train 😅, so I need to plan and get of work to go down there for some days/a week and do the medical and Interview at the same time span

Not really sure why myself that it’s different, it just is for some reason. You can contact the embassy to reschedule your appointment if they schedule you for a day that doesn’t work for you, if you do the interview and medical close together though just keep in mind that they may not be able to approve the visa until they get the medical if the medical hasn’t reached them yet. Not too big of an issue though you’d just have to wait maybe a week or two before they issue the visa rather than same-day approval, just something to keep in mind that it’ll be a little extra wait

OK cool! That's perfect that the medical does not have to be at the embassy before hand. Really don't want to make two trips down to Stockholm

Definitely, just some extra waiting time is all so that they can look at the medical first before they can approve the visa, but the waiting is the only issue
