it's probably too early to worry - but the I-129F left the NVC on 3/13 and (looking at the DSL website) might have gotten to the embassy on 3/17 or 3/20... fiance has not heard anything yet...should he start calling the embassy? I e-mailed them but no answer.. no phone number listed on their website. Just getting a little anxious

Shannon, don't worry yet but be vigilant. Even though my case was unusual, you just never know. My advice, don't worry just yet... you are fine.

November 2004--I'm on vacation in Italy and met Gabriela at a pizzeria in Venice...it was love at first sight!

2 Weeks Later 2004--changed my intinerary to go back to Venice and see this Romanian girl that I couldn't stop thinking about.

August 30--My sweetie's Birthday! I love you, doll!!!

September 9, 2005--I-129F sent to NSC.

September 15, 2005--NOA1!

October 24, 2005--NOA2!!

November 07, 2005--NVC letter received!!!

Early December 2005--K1 packet gets to the Consulate in Naples but somehow they forgot about notifying us in any way, and apparently replying to emails is just waaaay too strenuous for them...

January 11, 2006--After numerous failed attempts to contact them, Naples Consulate emails packet3.

January 2006--I contact my state senator's office.

March 20, 2006--Gabi has her medical exam in Naples...

March 21, 2006--Gabi has her interview...K1 VISA ISSUED!!!!!

April 18, 2006--I will fly to Europe to get my honey...and never, ever let her go!!!

Our petition also left around the same time(3/14) from what I can tell from the DHL website, it could have been delivered either 3/19 or 3/23. I have been calling and they are super nice(in Dublin). It isn't in the system yet so they told me to call back tomorrow.

I am not sure about Korea, but if you can get a number, I don't think it would hurt to call. I am sure someone will come along that can help.

I am hoping our's moves fast because the price of fligts are going up every day :o:huh: I am planning on going to the interview.

Yeah, depending on the Embassy it can take a little while for them to send out a packet to you so I would give it a little more time and see if you can find some timelines of other people going through Korea and see how they long they waited to get a general idea of what to expect :)
