Does the k1 and k2 have a different application i.d on Ds-160 for the interview? If you set up an appointment for the interview for the K1 will the K2 be included in the interview or do they have to have separated interviews?

you need to create separate DS-160s for each applicant, one for K1, another for K2.

i indicated that my K2 will accompany me for my US travel so we can be interviewed at the same time. we were worried that if he follows after I enter US, there will a separate K2 interview for him. so to be sure, i stated that he'll accompany me to the US. we have the same interview date yesterday.

If you refer to your NVC letter with your case number it will have an 01 and 02. Mom is 01 and the K2 is 02. Each of you must have a Completed DS-160. When you make your appointment it will ask you after you complete your scheduling is there anyone else at which time you say yes and then you will complete the scheduling for the K2. Both of you will be tied together and have the same interview time.

Here is some further help from a long time member of VJ an expert on the process in the Philippines. He has a website that walks you through step by step of what needs to be done for your interview in the Philippines.

Everything is done times 2.

2 medicals, 2 DS-160, two visa fees, two interview appts.

When you scheduled the K-1 at the end of that process there should of been a pop-up or such that asked if you wanted to schedule another interview, that is when you would schedule the K-2

I would suggest you call the embassy.   The contact info for the embassy is under the Scheduling Interview tab (for the I-129F) here:  https://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/us-embassy-usem.html

I will request your posting gets moved to the Philippines forum.

Thank y'all. This was a question mt fiancee had. I've been really busy working 7/12s night shift on a turnaround so it is hard for me to answer these questions for her. This whole form has been a huge help through the whole process.
