Yes it is very hard being away from the one you love. I have not seen my fiance in 16 1/2 months and believe me its tough. The key is to be patient and that is easier said than done, and remember why you started this process inthe beginning and that is because of the love that you have for one another. I wish you all the best on your journey!! If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask that is what we are here for to help. I hope you will be reunited again soon with your love.

My Lola is having a hard time getting through this time of waiting. I am asking honest and real people to help me console her. I really love this woman that I can not breathe without her. She is having difficulty dealing with the separation and doubting my commitment to her. She is feeling that she is about to be adbanoned by me. I have promised to never leave her, listen to her, and always to supply her needs.

PLEASE HELP ME BY CONTACTING HER AT lola_sunlight@yahoo.com or please call just once ****. I need help to preserve this relationship

Hi,

My heart goes out to you and I will certainly email your Lola with a message...I am new to this process, just filed the I129F on 4-13..and I have been away from my fiance for 37 days...I can understand your feelings and my only advise is to focus on the end goal and that is to be together. And to know that one day that will happen and hopefully you be able to look back on this process and laugh....I wish you both the best and good luck!

Leaving your loved one behind is always hard.

I always hated the good byes.

She is going to have to be strong thru this journey. Just talking to her will help her alot with the waiting.

Be strong for her. She will really need you thru this long wait.

Good luck (F)

good luck on the relationship..you can make it.

If your and her love each other as much as you do then there is no need to worry everything will work out. You have to believe that. Seperation is a very difficult thing to deal with. But your love should and will get you through this together. Communication is key you have to talk to each other as much as you can. You both will be in my prayers! This process will test your relationship over and over again so you have to have alot of patience to deal with the seperation. Try and find things to do for each other. Send each other ecards, love letter, poems, try to see each other on cam as much as you can. send pics of each other. Believe me you can make it work. I know its hard but hang in there!

I am a soldier. The time spent separated does leave much room for things to distract us. I have to focus everyday, to avoid loosing track of what is important. My job, my soldiers, and my unit places alot on my mind. I know that my sweetie has alot on her mind...from A to Z.

I love her so much, as each time that I listen to her soft vioce it only makes me miss her even more. :crying: I know that we will see this visa process through, but like the name of this site...it is a journey!!!!

Good luck in your process but i tell you know start as soon as you can cause this process can be long took me 111 days to get approved and by reading some of these people horror stories I am not complaining. Now we have been waiting for about 1 month just for the US Embassy just to send her packet 3 info. So best of luck in your journey and i will pray everything goes smoothly for you.

Good luck to you both... it is hard for sure. My wife and I have been apart for 11 months now. Living accross the border does help since we do get to see eachother every couple months but I really feel for those who do not get to see eachother for a year, two years or more wow.

I wish you all the best my friend.
