Hi there, I have a few questions about the form and the package.

I-130A form:

-If i'm as a petitioner filling out the I-130A form for my spouse (Beneficiary) who lives outside of USA. Do I need to put info in the Preparer's section?  Also does my spouse who lives overseas need to sign this form? If he does not, do I need to write a note saying that he's living outside of USA?

   - Should I leave blank for the parts that dont apply to me or I should input N/A into those blank spots?

CR-1 package:

   - when I photocopy documents such as evidence, birth certificate, etc. Are those photocopies need to be notarized? Can those photocopies be black and white or it has to be colored?

   - if I include pictures as evidences for bona fide marriage, can i just print them out at the store? Does size of the photo matter?

   - Also, if i want to include social media post or messages or call logs. Can i print them out as black and white or Color would be a better choice?

I130a

-  no to preparer

- no to signature..

- we put NA

i130..

- colour copies,

- we notorized,

- compile a few pictures onto an A4 paper (give each picture an explanation of what their looking at) and PDF no need to send actual printed photographs.

- Colour copies of everything is always better...

just remember photos social media etc are subsidiary evidence.., it’s always better to send joint banking/bills/leases etc..

If there is a section that does not apply, then one N/A will be sufficient, you won't have to put that in every field in a section.  Additionally, N/A may not always be the appropriate response, a section may be applicable but you simply wouldn't have an answer for it (e.g. prior spouses), in that case "none" is the appropriate answer.

Photocopies do not need to be notarized; as to color or black and white, that's up to you.

You can print them out at the store and size does not matter.  However, a better way of doing this is to print 4 to a page of computer paper with appropriate notations (this is what I did)

Doesn't matter, whatever looks more readable.

Couples living apart in separate countries often do not have such items and will not be expected or required to have them either.
