November 2019 Filer of I-130 for parent

I’m not very sure why they would change it back to that message, but I would not worry when it’s still processing. My mum’s case is still pending  ( I have purposely chosen not to do status checks)  and I’m not sure what it says now 🙂🙂.

Hi all,

So I decided to check on my application status ( filed online). I was utterly shocked 😳 that an RFE was sent on 9/2/2020 requesting other identification documents for my mum. I didn’t receive the mailed hard copy or email! Luckily, I still have 15 more days to submit the requested evidence. I’m also planning to send hard copies tomorrow. This is one time that I can say I trusted  and listened to my gut feeling 😌😌

Good catch! It just proves that we have to check the status manually and don’t rely on email updates or mail. Hopefully your I-130 will get approved soon. Good luck!

Absolutely! Automated systems are supposed to make life easier ( a trigger should enable email notification to be sent). I have a dedicated email address for this but no email was sent. I hope this  will be resolved  🔜 . Thanks for the wishes 😊!

Thanks African Queen_B. I had to deal  with my Mma’s  birth certificate issues too  . We are waiting for the interview to be scheduled per communication.

Interviews have started. This was not as a result of an expedite request.
