I just called NVC -- case is already shipped to Mumbai, India.

So, things seem to move much faster once approved.

05/18/07 Received ASC Appointment Notice dated 5/14/07 for June 1st (day 46)

10/26/07 "Card Production Ordered" (217 days from the day the application received and 172 days from NOA1)

same situation as vikas....got mail approval of I-129....no change in status online....keep checking ur mail folks not just email...good luck!!!

dunno how much longer it will be from here...heard chennai takes longer than the other consulates in india....

No, chennai is the fastest, then delhi, then mumbai

dunno how much longer it will be from here...heard chennai takes longer than the other consulates in india....

My I-129F was approved on May 18th and things moved fast after that. Chennai will schedule your interview as soon as they recieve ur file from NVC. They don't go thru packet 3 and that saves lot of time. Since July dates are already out, most probably u will be scheduled in August. Good luck!

I130/I129F Timeline

2007-02-07 -- I130 Sent to Nabraska Service Center

2007-02-15 -- NOA1 for I130 from California Service Center.

2007-02-22 -- I129F filed with Chicago USCIS office.

2007-03-02 -- NOA1 for 129F from MSC.

2007-03-27 -- Touched -- I129F transfered to CSC.

2007-03-28 -- I129F Touched !!

2007-05-17 -- I 130 and I 129F touched!!!! God please get me a approval without a RFE. You can do it please!!!

2007-05-18 -- I-130 and I-129F approved!!!! Dear God, thank you very much. You are the greatest!!

2007-05-22 -- I-130 and I-129F approval notice recieved in mail

2007-05-29 -- Case received at NVC and case number assigned.

2007-05-31 -- Case left NVC to chennai consulate

2007-06-14 -- packet 4 mailed by the consulate

2007-06-19 -- Packet 4 recieved

2007-06-25 -- Submitted documents at VFS office, Hyderabad

2007-07-09 -- Medical

2007-07-12 -- Interview at 9am approved!!!

I just checked my mail (not e-mail). TWO APPROVAL LETTERS FROM DHS!! Dated 6/1/2007

I noticed your I-129F is moving along, but what's going on with your I-130? Hasn't been updated since.

-- Timeline --

CR-1:

USCIS-CSC: 126 Days (2/1/07-6/6/07)

Submitted visa petition.

RFE for more evidence of marriage.

Approved petition, then mailed to…

NRC: 96 Days (6/7/07-9/11/07)

...wrong center! National Record Center (NRC) is a storage center.

I had to request them to send it to the correct center. Delayed 96 days!

NVC: 84 Days (9/12/07-12/5/07)

Received petition. Now I apply for the visa.

NVC approves visa application and sends it to Taiwan consulate.

AIT: 34 Days (12/6/07-1/9/07)

American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) receives visa application.

2 Interviews. Visa in hand!

Total Days: 340 Days

K-3:

USCIS-CSC: 126 Days (2/1/07-6/6/07)

NVC: 21 Days (6/7/07-6/27/07)

AIT: 106 Days (6/28/07-10/11/07)

Problem with fingerprint, wait 2 months.

CR-1 almost done so wait for that instead.

Abandoned K-3 for CR-1 on 1/2/08

Total Days: 253 Days

Yours is so fast! Seems March is a good time to submit.

April 28 2007 sent I-130 to NVC

May 22 2007 application transfered to CSC

July 11 2007 received NOA1, decide to apply CR1 instead of K3

Aug 14 2007 touched (not sure if it is touched before Aug 14)

Aug 21 2007 NOA2 in snail mail :)

Aug 27 2007 NVC received our case, number is assigned.

Sep 11 2007 DS3032 and AOS bill generated and mailed out

Sep 12 2007 mailed out DS3032 from Canada and hubby mailed AOS bill in US. DS3032 will arrive NVC 3 days slower than AOS bill.

Sep 18 2007 Auto msg says NVC received DS3032, didn't mention AOS bill yet.

Sep 24 2007 IV fee bill generated

Oct 8 received IV fee bill. Still waiting for 864form

Oct 13 received 864form letter. It was issued on Sep 24 at NVC. Mailed out 864 on Oct 15

NVC agent said they don't receive IV fee bill nor 864. Send out IV fee bill again end of Oct.

Nov 8 IV fee bill entered to system

Nov 12 DS230 generated. But agent still said 864 is not received yet.

Nov 20 resend out 864 again(Hubby forgot to write case number on documents last time)

Nov 27 NVC Auto message said received 864, now waiting for 230

Nov 29 230 delivered. Will arrive at NVC next day.

Dec 3 NVC received 230 and put into its system

Dec 13 NVC operator told us the case is in administrative process.

Dec 14 Called operator again, and magically the case is completed!
