You really gonna make a timeline leading up to you entering on a tourist visa with intention to marry and stay in the US?

Hmmm it was just a timeline and history of when we visited each other and history of how we met? I don't think the word "intention" is a proper word for two people wanted to tie a knot and live together. My husband can live in my home country too, but he has a job in here, which he could not leave.

But, entering on a visitor Visa with the "intention" of getting married and adjusting status to resident is a big no no

Yes I totally agreed with it. I had a return ticket already  and my husband proposed to me after I decided to extend my stay.

No business at home to wrap up might be a red flag

Very few people can take a vacation with plans to go back and just never return.  Unless they were prepared to stay.  See how that might look?  Y’all be very careful.

Lol - so?

Was a bubbly couple on here a few weeks ago who got denied at AOS because of some little mismatch between the POE answers and AOS interview answers.  Got put in removal proceedings.  Was a shame.  They get a sniff that you used that visa to get married and stay and you’re gonna figure out it was a risk you shouldn’t have taken.  There’s no appeal.  Waiting apart in the long term is a sure thing, which is why it was suggested to you to file CR1.

On extending your stay, did you alter the original return ticket and obtain a new one?

You really don't get why this could be an issue?

I think intention is the exact word.

We all had to wait and were separated from our spouse and guess what, we all survived.

Just because you want to do it your way doesn't mean USCIS agrees with this.

You have you play by the rules USCIS tells you.

Good luck with your journey.

on filing the I130 and 1485, correct?

I-765 and I-131 are also recommended. Both are free: "If you properly file Form I-485 and pay the required fees, you may file Form I-765 and Form I-131 without paying additional fees. You may file these forms together, or if you choose to file Form I-765 or Form I-131 separately, you must also submit a copy of your I-797C, Notice of Action, receipt as evidence that you filed and paid for Form I-485." https://www.uscis.gov/system/files_force/files/form/i-485instr.pdf Page 16

Hi Sir/Ma'am,

Thanks for your response :)

I can't open a bank account to joint his bank account, as I don't have SSN yet. What evidences I could provide for a Bonifide Marriage?

I haven't heard of the CR1. We had impression that the forms we will be submitting are I130 and I485. Can you please help understand the CR1 and how to jump into that option? Thanks in advance. GBU

I didn’t have SSN but the bank allowed me to be included in his bank account so we have a joint checking. Proof of marriage is what the bank asked. Also, your spouse to include you on health insurance, properties, etc is helpful.

See this sample from someone who got interviewed and approved already. The most important thing is, that the marriage is valid and not fraudulent.

Can someone please enlighten me how getting married while on a B-1/B-2 Visa would work? Like, what kind of circumstances?

It just seems a little far-fetched to me that someone who got married while visiting did not have any intention of getting married at all.

I also thought that when someone gets married while on a B-1/B-2 Visa, they have to go back to their country and then apply for a Spouse Visa.
