Problems submitting DV entry?

Hello,

 

My relatives are trying to submit DV2021. Every time they get error "Secure Connection Failed".

I've tried to submit their data from here in US and I get the same thing. Different browsers, different computers, etc.

Is there some known issue with the system?

It’s a very common problem in the last few days of the entry period, happens every year. Millions of people are trying to submit at the same time. All they can do is keep trying.

Systems crash when 23 million people apply for 55,000 visas.

I was able to do it last night. Submitted entries for 3 relatives Took about 2 hours to do it. Persistence paid off

i was going to submite in day 4 nov before one day of the end , then i was talking with my friend who is already in New York, after winning dv 2 years ago , i told him that i still didn't apply this year, then ye told i should do that now , because there's some problems in website, so i get up and tryed to apply, then i get the same problems as yours, so i treyd to wake up in early morning, to try again, i said maybe i will find less triffic in that time, and i did that, and finally i get passed and everything works fine, i treyd mozila firefox , because by using google chrome i wan unable to apply, as i know there's a lot of people that found problems in last days. i hope everything was good for you , wish you the best of luck
