Anyhoo, I was reading this thread as I was interested in ways to deal with this fear & was struck at how rude & dismissive you were to many people, who were trying to help you. So I asked why you started the thread.

Anyhoo, I was reading this thread as I was interested in ways to deal with this fear & was struck at how rude & dismissive you were to many people, who were trying to help you. So I asked why you started the thread.

You needn't have bothered. I don't appreciate the personal attack...and I think it's clear to anyone reading this thread that I've taken many, many, many, MANY steps to deal with this problem and have been unsuccessful at every turn. My problem is very stubborn and it cannot be solved by simply 'talking to someone about it', 'getting drunk', or taking sleeping pills. I don't think I was rude at all; just matter-of-fact when I explained why the idea would not or had not worked.

Your opinion may vary and it clearly does...but like I said before, if you find me and my 'moaning' so irritating, do us both a favor and please just ignore me.

In this thread you advocate docs lying to get you free meds, you freely admit you've abused Valium in the past, you receive meds illegally in the post, you beg for (& receive) Valium from your GP, you dismiss herbals yet will freely take pharmaceuticals.

You're confused because you're wrong. My doctor did not LIE to get me FREE meds; I was barely borderline for my insurance company to cover a drug that in her medical opinion I should be taking, so she tweaked a test result by about a tenth of a point so they would cover it. Doctors worth a squirt of piss do this sort of thing for their patients because they are looking out for their best interests.

Abused Valium? I'm not even going to dignify that except to say that it is a lie and I'm going to report your post as libel.

Received meds in the post? Sure. I wouldn't have to if the NHS wasn't so tight-fisted. I should probably add that my mother's doctor wrote the prescription for her even though he knew she was going to send them to me. Going to report him?

I would not say that accusing me of abusing prescription drugs is constructive...definitely not. That is completely unforgiveable.

My first trip to Egypt my doc gave me a prescription for a scopolamine patch and told me to pick up meclizine at the pharmacy. I had not flown in a couple years, but the last flight I was sick the entire flight and I was worried it would happen again. Both those meds did the trick for me. I was a bit tired, but didn't mind that at all since I didn't have anything to do for 13 hours so I got a lot of zzzzz's

H_A has responded to you, your replies are simply just breaking down every little thing she has said and doing nothing to help this thread whatsoever. All it will achieve is to keep a pointless argument ongoing. Your posts are invisible for now and I will get the Captain to look them over to double check them.
