Missing phone number for receiving P3

I just went over our I-129 packet and I noticed I failed to fill out portion where it asks for the beneficiary's telephone number. I read that the delivery will call you to sign for the packet, what happens if they only have the native physical address but not their phone number? Will this affect the delivery of the package? If so where can I update and give them the number to call?

It might really depend on the location, and how the beneficiary typically receives mail/parcels.  My SO lived in an apartment building (Shenzhen) and received a call for most deliveries.  I'd suggest talking to your beneficiary, and asking if they can receive EMS deliveries without a phone call.  I think it should probably be okay.  The mail may get delivered to a local delivery hub, where the beneficiary can call/check to see if they have any deliveries waiting to be picked up.

It is still hard for me to wrap my head around the idea of entire countries without mailboxes or well-defined mailing addresses.

She's in Guangzhou, butthe complex she lives at doesn't have a security or anyone to receive packages on their behalf. I've found the Embassy website and emailed them to update the phone # information. I also told her to call the GZ embassy info line and see if they could update it for her. I'm just hoping it won't get lost.
