Online Updates Not Updating

Are the fine folks over at the USCIS even bothering updating the online status anymore??

Much less bothering to send out email updates??

Am I the only one that finds this a bit annoying??

Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't People here have had every combination of email/not email possible. Touches, not approved message. Approved message, no touches. Letter from NVC without seeing a touch, email, or hard copy NOA2.

Annoying, but probably not much to be done about it.

You tried to attack me for this before in someone else's thread (so this is your second hijacking of another's thread). I've explained the purpose before. It has nothing to do with you. If it offends you, you should use the "ignore" feature here on VJ and your eyes won't be bothered by my posts again.

No, you're right to be frustrated because it is only half-comforting to have an online notification system if you aren't really SURE it will actually tell you anything. But in the grand scheme of things, my own view is that I'd rather they work on other problems before getting the email system exactly perfect. Like overall processing times. It's a far from perfect system, top to bottom.
