I posted packet three today. But just realised i forgot to sign form DS-230 part 1, and i made a mistake on the address history part. Should i post another correct copy with a letter explaining, or just ignore it and hope it's ok?

Any thoughts?

Arrrrgghh what an idiot i am

might be a time where it is worth forking over the crazy costs for the scotland number to get the mythical email "code" for getting an email through to them. see if you can get advice. shouldn't lose too much time.

I know - I really wouldn't normally recommend such things. But I asked about the email address when I called the State Department "INformation" line (they are really great, love them!), and they said, well, no email addy we can find here, but here's the switchboard number. I didn't call it.

I've heard about the so-called "code" the misinformation line gives. But I've also heard you can just email londonconsular@state.gov with your case number in the title - get the automatic "we deleted this without reading it" reply and STILL get a real reply as well. but people's experience seems to vary.

Do another form and send it in with a cover page stating your case number, name and reference number.

I didn't realise I had to send ALL the forms back with my packet 3 and all were happily married up :)

Personally I would do a corrected form and send it in with an explanation.

Send it with a covering letter including your case reference. And have one on standby to post in case they still send you a request. You cant go wrong if you ask me. I did it with USCIS at Laguna Niguel just after we sent incorrect g325's and got the 1st letter back but in the mean time I had other copies with my fiance and once we had a receipt number she had them ready to send.

get it done!
