I just logged in from work and I am unable to open the file that was uploaded. It is probably a firewall thing but I’m sure I can open it from home. It looks like the same file that was uploaded last time I checked with no changes to the date. I’ll probably send a message later to them to see if they can explain why my upload appears incomplete, because I certainly sent a LOT more info than what is included in that scan!

@Quarknase, I just now logged in from home and looked at the scan of my documents. It is the same as it was the first day I logged in, no changes. I did send a message inquiring about that via the portal and am awaiting a response. I will not be uploading anything else unless they want me to.

Wow sounds like a terrible experience.  There should be something you can do here...  But at least you have refiled so you have that just in case.  I would file for an expedite and say it was clear error on them in the past!?

I am not sure if they will take it for expedite since obviously they won’t admit they did something wrong. And I don’t know how to expedite as well.

I'm sorry this happened to you. Is the delay of responding to RFE the only reason they stated on the denial notice? I would probably send them a letter and explain the events - date of first and second request to send you the RFE, etc... Worth a try.

I was wondering the best way to tackle the question of "where did you meet your spouse"?

We were introduced by a mutual friend, but she never visited throughout our online courtship period.

Her first visit is when we got married and she filed for me immediately she returned back to the States.

Won't admitting that we were introduced during interview lead to AP ? Because I keep reading that your spouse must visit once or twice at least before getting married.

We are from same country and state, so telling a sweet lie about our meeting won't be an issue.

-> I'd say you tackle it best by telling the truth. If you're relationship is real, what do you worry about?

Hi, I also filed my I-130 online today. We will see if this new system will speed up the whole process for us. BTW, I actually filed another I130 for my husband last year in December.  Recently I received the denied notice from USCIS because they didn't receive my RFE within the given time frame. However, it wasn't my fault. They sent out the RFE in July 2019, I didn't notice until Aug, 2019. So I sent out the request of resend the letter. USCIS assigned this request to an officer, however the officer did not do anything. I called USCIS and they told me I have to wait 30 days because it is the policy. I waited 30 days to file another request to resend missing letter. When the time I received the letter, it was late already. I included all required documents and send them back to USCIS anyway. My final result is DENIED after 32 days since they received my documents. I am feeling so depressed right now.

So sorry to hear that. Please hang in there. May I ask why did you get an RFE last time?

Never ever lie on a petition or visa application. Just tell the truth that you were introduced online by a mutual friend. Purposeful lying and misrepresentation can result in a lifetime ban from the US if you’re found out. 100% not worth it to lie

Hi,

We have sent out our I-130 (concurrent filing) on 11/26; Chicago lockbox received it on 11/27. We received texts on 12/5 with our receipt numbers (MSC). Is there a way to get an idea what's the timeline is if the application has been sent to NBC?

You can check the page here on VJ right: https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/. It says NBC Jan 8 2019, so about 11 months to go.
