Hey. So my husband's step dad will be the joint sponsor. Does his wife(my husband's mom) have to fill out form i-864A if she doesnt need to?

My NVC expedite request was approved as well!!! Thanks for everyone's posts, helped me a lot. Anyone who got an expedite approval, did you guys got the interview date yet? if so how long it took after the approval date?

PD Sept 2019

 

Transferred from CSC to NSC on 23rd February, 2020.

 

Made an out of processing request recently and got the reply below..

 

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records show that your case is currently pending adjudication. However, we have had to perform additional reviews on your case, and this has caused a longer processing time.

 

Who has had a similar response ? How long will I have to wait for this extended review ?

Alhamdulillah woke up this morning with a good news. 

Texas Service Centre transfer to California Service Centre on 02/23/2020
IR1 visa 

PD: 11/22/2019
RFE: 05/01/2020
RFE sent: 05/01/2020
NOA 2: 06/25/2020
NVC Received: 06/26/2020

Submit Document on NVC: 09/11/2020
Submit Expedite: 09/11/2020
(Never in the DQ stage) 
Expedite approved: 09/25/2020
Medical Exams: 11/05/2020 & 11/16/2020
Interview Date: 11/24/2020
Issue form 221(g) : 11/24/2020
Courier form 221(g) & passport to embassy: 11/24/2020

11/30/2020 received this email saying that we completed it. 
Now waiting for visa in hand.

Timeline

Hello. Nvc accepted all my documents after only 10 days of submitting. I got an email that they ll let me know about the interview date. So now i only have to wait? Or do i have to contact the embassy to schedule it?

@Katie10 sorry to know you are also in this boat but thanks for writing. Tough when so many ppl got processed while we are “forgotten”. Yup the professing dates are back to “normal”, will see what that means in practice. 
My attorney said the visa centre staff shortages are unlike she ever seen/known before. She quoted her connections claiming there are tables full on case folders unprocessed waiting for someone to open them...no progress. we are considering our options vs holidays slowing everything down again.
