I just stated that financial hardship and emotional hardship for being long distance.

For my case, it just took about 3 days(friday to monday) to change the status from NVC to embassy.

How long did it take from request to approval at NVC?

Oh really? That’s great! Did the status on ceac go from “At NVC” to “In Transit” at any time? Or did it just go from “At NVC” to “Ready”?

Thanks for the reply Shemuz. Will attempt expediting. Don't want to be stuck without her if the second wave of COVID hits where everything will shutdown again.

You’re welcome! Exactly! That would be horrible. I hope your expedite request gets approved. Good luck to you!

We received an email today that our interview appointment was cancelled. However, we never had an interview scheduled. I’ve read a few posts about this being common for expedited cases. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I have read that this is normal. NVC automatically generates the cancellation because the Embassy is now handling the scheduling.  Also see below:

07 Nov 2019 - IR-1 Submittes Online / Priority Date
17 July 2020 - I-130 Approval Notice (Nebraska Service Center)
15 Sept 2020* - Submitted documents to NVC
01 Oct 2020 -  Case FE Review note: Request to submit marriage termination document.
01 Oct 2020 -  Spouse divorce papers submitted
01 Oct 2020 - DOCUMENTARILY QUALIFIED

Notes:
* Foreign police clearance lost by Fedex - delayed submission to NVC by 6 weeks.

Thank you so much for clarifying. I was a little confused and worried when I saw that email.

Thanks for all the information sharing. Just received an email from NVC that Kingston embassy has accepted my case for expedited processing. This is after an email from them on Monday saying they are reviewing the request.

Hello, my hubby and I are still waiting for a response to I130 filing in Nov 2019, got no update since NOA1.

Perhaps you noticed that overnight Potomac priority dates jumped back 2 months (from Nov 1 to Sept 5 2019).

We were four (4) days away from our priority date inquiry on status. And this is the second time, same happened end of July 2020.

It is so damn frustrating...

I wish more people would come back to edit their VJ timeline, mine is just useless, saying this today:

Estimates/Stats :
Based on timeline data, your I130 may be adjudicated between September 3, 2020 and September 15, 2020*.

Current tax return is required, past returns are optional.
