Thx for sharing your experience. It is a fantastic that your case is currently under review.

I chatted with an Emma agent and asked the same questions, but he was not helpful. He basically said he couldn't tell me anything. Oh well. Maybe I'll try again next time.

Hi! Thought I'd encourage everyone waiting for NOA2.

I woke up Sunday morning and saw an email from NVC for case creation (Mail was sent on Saturday evening)!!! At first I thought it was a mistake but went to check my case status and saw that my i130 was approved on Friday 17th April. I'm so excited!

I applied Nov 29 2019 and received NOA1 same day. My case was processed by Texas Service Centre.

Goodluck to everyone waiting!

That is great news congratulations!  Did you notice movement on your account, as in the date changing one or two times right before you received the notice?  I am just curious because my date has changed at least two times in the last month.  I logged on and talked to an agent online but they would tell me nothing at all.

Best of luck on the rest of your journey!

@MedellinCOUS Sorry! I'm new here so don't how to respond to your post directly🙂

To your question, sometime around  February 23rd I noticed the date change but I didn't pay much attention to it. To be honest I was expecting at least 8 months processing time so I didn't check my status except that one time (which I checked to see if my case had been transferred to another service centre).

So far 7 Nov cases has been approved from three diffrent centers. My petition is with Vermont center and they are working on 28 Oct cases.

Lets hang and hope.

Hello Ja&Sid,

I want to know if these cases are for spouses of USC or LPR. Also, these approvals are for spouses abroad or already in the country. Our PD is Nov 2019 (filed at CSC, no idea where it is now) and we are eagerly waiting for NOA 2. I am an LPR. My USC oath got postponed due to Covid :(.

Please share as much info you can to bring us some light. Thanks !

Why does it state "case closed" on the USCIS website?  It looks like this with a date of today "22 APR 2020".  What is going on?  It still says case status is under revew?
