Helllo!

filed for my mother (UK resident) and I am a USC citizen in Nov.

not had an approval yet. We got given an efiling reference even though we applied via post and it appears the centre located is Texas.

any body previously done one of these applications- any idea realistically how long before she is in the states. People are saying up to a year :(

You might want to learn about the process here https://www.visajourney.com/ir1-spouse-visa-overview/

And look at the processing times, based on other members. https://www.visajourney.com/times/

And learn about the long delay in Mexico to get an interview here:  https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/96-mexico-latin-south-america/

Hi Guys,

My spouse have filed I-130 in October end. I have received the NOA with a PD of 4th November 2019. Let's see how long it will take for i-130 approval. My service centre is Texas as per NOA1.

@Quarknase still no reply from TSC about my question. Not that I’m surprised! Wanted to update you.

Does everyone else who filed a hard copy petition only see a 25 page random section online of the petition you mailed in?

Yes, this is exactly what I see also.  I was concerned at first, but I assume maybe it is just a sample selection for whatever reason.

Hello Everyone!

I mailed our I-130 to Phoenix dropbox on 11 Nov 2019, NOA1 on 20 NOV 2019 and we have been assigned to Texas.

When I login to my USCIS accout it says:

December 9, 2019 In Process Your benefit request has been accepted and is under review.

I'm glad to have found a group who is going through this with us as well!  It is very challenging for our relationship knowing that the wait can be so long.  We have made it this far though, day by day.  We are hoping to hear back something by april or may.  Fingers crossed!

Here's to success for all of us!

Just checked my timeline, now the date has been extended since I last checked:

Based on timeline data, your I130 may be adjudicated between May 31, 2020 and June 11, 2020*.

On the bright side, I have not been obsessive with checking my timeline, the last 3 months since filing have actually flown by! 😁

Hi! Try to take some comfort in knowing we all feel exactly the same. I returned back to London on Sunday from the most amazing honeymoon without my husband who of course had to return to L.A. It feels so cruel to be apart so much. I have my fingers crossed and am also feeling rather optimistic that we’ll hear something by the end of May! My estimated approval date keeps going back and is now around July 1st, but I have a feeling it will be before then 🙂

I agree! Time has gone surprisingly quick! We could already be halfway through the wait for our NOA2s!😃

Here’s hoping we all get through this process smoothly and as quickly as possible!

Hi, I have filed I-130 for my spouse in November by mail, I received acceptance notice with instructions to create online account. After creating online account and linking my petition, I see there is one file with name ending part2. I don't see all documents that I have submitted for my case like marriage certificate, passport, green card etc. Anyone who faced this or have any idea why there is just one part2 file.

Thank you!

Hello.  Yes, this seems to be the case for everyone on here.  I haven't found an answer as to why we can't see all documents.  But as others have said, they must be able to see all of them and we can only see part for whatever reason.

Hey all, joining in the conversation. I'm also in the Nebraska thread because... Yes I was given the Nebraska SC. Received NOA1 Nov 12, although the letter took two months to arrive here in Chile. I had called way before and they gave me the info over the phone.

Because I was assigned to Nebraska I also filled the I-129f/K3 for my wife. In December received notice.

Subscribing to this thread. Hopefully Nebraska will speed up, seems like it is recently.

USCIS Stage:

  • Nov 12 2019: NOA1 (NSC)
  • Dec 17 2019: I-129f Received
  • May 15 2020: I-130 Approved!

NVC Stage:

  • May 16 2020: Case Created
  • May 16 2020: Fees Paid
  • May 22 2020: Sent IV & AOS Packages
  • May 29 2020: Request for more documents (proof of assets)
  • May 30 2020: Resubmitted NVC documents
  • June 15, 2020: DQ'd!
