I do not think you can expedite green card interview.  My husband was about to be relocated as well and I looked into it. It seems the only one way is abandon your case (since you will not show up) and re-apply for wife visa. Basically to start all over.  But i would inform UCSIS about re-location of course.

Oh no, I don't think it's an option for me) So much of waiting time would be wasted 🤪] It's sad we can't expedite but thank you for your response!

Another option would be to wait it out here, do the interview alone and follow him as soon as you have the greencard. USCIS allows one to do the interview alone if the USC spouse is deployed so I would think that also works if the spouse has already left for a PCS abroad.

This is probably what we are going to do. Hopefully I will at least  get an interview date before he leaves so I could know what to do here. Being here alone without a family makes me feel a little anxious

Hello!

Is there anyone who got their I485 expedited?

My husband is being relocated to South Korea in October and I wanted to join him but I've still been waiting on Greencard and I'm not sure when I'm going to get my interview. We are thinking about expediting so we could finish all other paperwork before leaving

Is he in the military? If so I believe there are special accommodations that can be made.

I saw on other replies that you could wait and then follow him. Just know he needs to be at the interview with you.

keep the faith. I got my green card in my hands end of May.

I'm still waiting for my interview to be scheduled. I thought by now my application would be at my local field office but I found out today that it's still at NBC. I think a bunch of paperwork from late October to early November are still in boxes or are sitting on top of someone's desk. How unfortunate. :(

I am so sorry to hear that! So you never had your interview scheduled in the first place?

I'm also still waiting. How did you find out where your application is? I might inquire about mine too in a few weeks

Now they aren’t really slacking ... Arizona is one of the new epicenters of COVID-19 as is Florida ugh.. so unfortunately our AOS is the least of their worries right now 😑😑😑

Any green card interview for you guys recently? My wife received her SSN and work permit, pre-covid. However, We're still waiting for a notice in the mail for green card interview.

Yes.  November 2019 AOS filer.  My K1 wife got the work permit and the Travel Permit in May.  Her daughter has not received anything yet.  Also in March they were supposed to send an interview date for the green card according to the website.  Obviously Covid jinx that. Glad they are here in the USA and we are married.  Just now a waiting game so they can go visit their family.
