Today we received 2 letters

i-131 Approval Notice

i-765 Approval Notice

Very happy and excited specially because of this whole COVID-19 issue.

Can someone explain to me what are the next steps and if there is any type of timing on those?

Thanks before hand.

I received my card the same day as the approval letters. Check the EAD case status online. There you should find your information about where you are with the card.

The EAD/ AP proces is separate from the AOS so it has no influence on that timingwise.

My wife's EAD/AP combo card arrived today.  I panicked a bit because on the outside of the envelope it was addressed to wife with her last name first so I was worried they had screwed something up.

Not to worry,  card is fine, card displays last name, first name, and middle initial on front.  I guess that is normal. Back of card has her full first name, middle name, last name.

My card was due to be delivered yesterday, we checked informed delivery and it said

“Delivery Attempted - No Access to Delivery Location”

Do you know if signature is required for delivery? We live in an apartment building and the mailbox is separated away from building access!

We've scheduled for a redelivery tomorrow, and I stuck notes on our mailbox to call me if I need to sign! Fingers crossed!

No worries, “Delivery Attempted - No Access to Delivery Location” is USPS-lingo for "We didn't make it". In my case it was "No secure location" but I know for a fact they weren't even here.

Congrats!

Now the status is showing as delivered but I didn’t receive it in our mailbox. The saga is never ending! Even USPS doesn’t know where it’s gone 😅

Received my combo card on Tuesday. I also received a second SSN which I guess I’m just never going to use, going by previous posts guidance. Starting my new job June 1st!

So excited to finally feel like a normal functional human being again after so long!

FYI same thing happened to me with the ssn. You need to send it back to your local social security office with a letter explaining why And promise not to use that number and include photocopy of your combo card... they will in turn mail you a check list you agree too and sign and send back...

You should return it when the SSA offices open up again. This needs to get adressed.
