Congratulations!! Did your interview happen before the offices closed or the interview was waived?

It happened on the last day before they stopped doing the interviews. Very few questions, just about paperwork, and then told me I had to do a new physical cause they lost it before they could approve me... so went the next day and was able to mail it in the following week. took 4 weeks after that to get the approval notice and 5 days later had my card.

Hi guys, Im still waiting on my EAD.  Whilst waiting, I started my job search and just got a job offer. Has anyone here successfully submitted an expedite request to USCIS? The role is within the clinical trial space, I know some of their trials are Covid 19 trials so this may also help my case!

Yaay. Hope mine is fast too

Got my EAD card today! In the  USCIS case tracker it said that the card was picked up from USCIS today, but it turns out that it was already delivered.

Do they still process expedite requests? Aside from it being much more expensive. I remember reading in their website that they have stopped processing those. 🤔 also wondering cause I’m also in the medical field.

They do. A lot of people doing it and I never saw something on the USCIS website that they stopped it. Also it's free of any fees

Edit: I just did it myself and received my card today

Go and call them tomorrow and request the expedite. With a job offer your chances are pretty high.

Oh I see. I confused it with premium processing 😹 thanks for that! Oh well. Hope we’ll get our EADs soon

That’s awesome. Did you submit any evidence? I asked the recruiter to get me a letter with the job offer on it!

Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview since November 20,2019. Nothing yet! I got my EAD card on January and nothing since. So is it just me or this takes too long?
