worst part is having to go to a clinic and lab during this virus outbreak

Exactly! And it isn’t like their employees are paid through taxes. We pay fees! The least they can do is be careful with our stuff.

Awwww sorry about that. What kind of questions were you asked during the interview? and did you have to go with your spouse?

Yes - you have to go with your spouse (it’s in the letter)

actually he didn’t ask any questions except to ask for my documents such as passport etc. basically he just checked that the paper work was in order. Quite weird - But I wasn’t going to complain. He said that the interview in two years to remove the conditions in my green card would be more stringent cause they want to ... and I quote “see how the marriage has progressed”

He blamed it on the State Department not sending it over - who knows?

Did he gave you numbers on how many children, pets, loans and mortgages you have to have by then? It kinda sounds like that they have a chart for those things 😂😂

Hmmm Interesting. I have also been hearing that sometimes they can give a 10 YEAR Green card instead of the 2 year. Do you know why?

If you are playing as a marriage based applicant (I129f for example) then it is 2 years to make sure your marriage is real - after that you get a normal length green card, but you can apply for citizenship within 3 years of marriage

If your interview or greencard approval date is past your two year marriage anniversary then you would get a 10year card and wouldn't have to do ROC. Two years is the crucial happy marriage mark 😁

Both EAD and AP changed time Case approved today!😁 As you may know my EAD changed to “new card is being produced” yesterday, but nothing happened to my AP yesterday. I thought case approved came before the “ New Card is being produced” update? So what does that mean for my physical card?

It’s all funky and yes a physical card is being made... you get an update once it’s shipped that lets you track it

Congrats !!!! When did you send they your Aos package if you don’t mind me asking

Our priority date was November 25, 2019; the receipts for all our requests were dated December 19, 2019. We’re still waiting for our AOS interview to be scheduled, as San Jose, CA is one of the busier USCIS field offices.

NO you can't apply for citizenship within 3 years of marriage. You can only apply for citizenship within 3 years of being a PR through marriage and 5 years without marriage

Yes sorry that is what I meant.... for us we will be able to in less than  3. 5 years of being married 🤞🏼 Since we are just waiting for them to issue the formal approval (had our interview 4 months after getting married - 3.5months from applying)
