Status just changed to case ready for interview. I hear it can take some time before they actually give a date though

Yes it can ours took over 4 months to change to interview was scheduled. But nothing you can do but wait. It depends on your local office too!

4 years, 11 months, 2 weeks and 3 days

I just wanted to recommend to everyone to set email AND text message alerts on updates to your USCIS case.

I have gotten both text and email updates for every update, until yesterday.  Yesterday I got a "case scheduled for interview" update by text only. My online account was also also update, but the alert never came by email.

Just saw through SMS (just SMS even if I signed up for email notifications too) that our interview has been scheduled. So that's one business day or two calendar days to change from ready to schedule to scheduled. I was surprised. I was prepared to wait two more months.

Me too. Nov 8 PD, biometrics on Dec 12, no updates since then. However, received a courtesy letter for I-693 (medical) today. Hope EAD is around the corner and update about ready to be scheduled for interview as well.  San Francisco filer here.

Have you guys noticed that there haven’t been any EAD approvals on VJ since the 13th?? Which of course this only applies to VJ applicants and is dependent on people filling their timeline out. I might be wrong, but I checked on the EAD page for immigration timelines. I’m so scared that USCIS will temporarily stop working on applications. My husband went down on hours because of the virus so I could reeeaally use that EAD right about now.

I’m not trying to freak anyone out, I’m just dying for someone to prove me wrong😅

Don't get scared because nobody on VJ got an approval on Saturday and Sunday, also known as weekend 😉😉
