CASE IS READY TO BE SCHEDULED FOR INTERVIEW!!! I’m most concerned about the EAD at this point, but I understand it like the I-485 has to be at this stage for the rest to progress. Very excited to see progress. Definitely did my happy dance!😄

I got the "fingerprints being processed for AP" text and email on March 3.

Today I got a text saying I-485 scheduled for interview.  They will mail me a letter with the date, I guess, and there's no way to find out the date sooner?

No word on EAD/AP approval which is what my wife and I are really waiting for.  Is the combo card normally issued shortly after the interview gets scheduled? That's my hope, but it might be wishful thinking.

Two completely different processes that don't have anything to do with each other at this point.

Status just changed to case ready for interview. I hear it can take some time before they actually give a date though

Took me a little over six weeks for status to change from "ready for scheduling" to  "scheduled for interview"

Just to double check: we won’t have to bring I-693 to the interview right? I didn’t receive any papers at my medical (done in June 2019, so less than a year ago), it was all sent directly to the embassy and then I got a packet in the mail that I handed to the POE officer. I’ve read everywhere that K1’s who have done a medical within a year are exempt. Anyone who had their interview recently who can confirm this?

We did not need the I-693, we were pretty much in the same boat. We had our medical in May, visa interview in June, and our green card interview was in December.

They didn't give us anything for the medical, the interviewer for our green card had all of that in her massive file on us and we didn't need an I-693

That sounds good! And did you file anything medical-related when you sent your application in? And she didn't ask for your DS-3025 or anything? And congrats btw!!🎉

Nope, we didn't have to file anything medical related and no DS-3025. And thank you! The interview is really straight forward, just bring lots of proof and be ready to say "No" 80 times when they ask you if you're a murderer or a member of the communist party and the rest of those wacky questions
