San Diego Filer here just checking in!

I finally I got some movement on my case.

My AOS status is ready to schedule for interview today

My EAD is still case received

My AP changed to updated to show fingerprints 3/3 and I received a letter in the mail yesterday saying that they are looking at my AP and using my biometrics.

Hi! I'm trying to determine how my case is being processed. I filed November 15th, but unfortunately we didn't receive NOA1 until a month later (12/09). Would my case be processed as November or December? My case number for AOS, EAD and AP starts with MSC2090384XXX. Is this a higher number than most in here? I know the case numbers are assigned somewhat chronologically. I'm trying to estimate where I'm at in comparison to other November filers.

Mine has a 3 where you have a 4 and my NOA date is January 6th. Kinda makes me doubt the chronological part 😉

USCIS drives me insane!!🤣 How does that even make sense? Well I guess they REALLY don't want people to know what's going on😅

In my opinion, the received date is what you use to determine what filer you are. So whichever date and month your package was delivered, that is the month you belong to. Thats what I came up with based on research.

12/07/2019 - Package mailed
12/10/2019 - Package received (Chicago Lockbox)
01/13/2020 - Received text message receipts (for the 2 forms)
01/17/2020 - Received NOA for biometrics appointment (notice date: 01/10/2020)
01/28/2020 - Biometrics Completed

01/31/2020 - I-131 Rejected due to selecting the incorrect reason for applying. (Refiled)
02/06/2020 - Refiled I-131, delivered & signed for by CHYBA

02/11/2020 - EAD Expedite Requested (Financial Hardship, Health Issues)

02/13/2020 - Evidence requested and faxed

02/18/2020 - EAD Expedite Approved 😩

02/18/2020 - RFE needed (waiting on mail) 😩

02/21/2020 - RFE (Sponsor Needed)..... in process

03/02/2020 - Received NOA for Refiled I-131 (NOA: 02/06/2020)

03/10/2020 - RFE Response Sent to USCIS

03/12/2020 - I-131 Updated to Fingerprints were Taken (Used from Bio)

03/12/2020 - RFE delivered to USCIS

03/12/2020 - Case updated to RFE received

03/21/2020 - Received Courtesy Letter for Medical

04/02/2020 - EAD (New Card Ordered)

04/03/2020 - EAD Case Was Approved

04/06/2020 - EAD Approval Notice Received

04/06/2020 - EAD was mailed to me

04/09/2020 - EAD Received

05/08/2020 - SSN Received

I have a question regarding Social Security Numbers.

for those that have already received their EAD, were you automatically provided with a Social Security Number, or did you have to wait for that also?

thank you

Hi everyone! Just received like a lot of people here the letter about the biometrics for AP.

Although still no update on anything since they received the RFE answer end of January...

I know, I’m still confused over what that mail out was all about. Seemed like a bit of redundant information, if you ask me.

I just checked my case and NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED! A week after receiving that update on my AP so hopefully all those who got it too will be getting their EADs soon!

Congratulations. I filed for AoS the same day as you and got the weird AP fingerprint update on March 4 so I'll try to be optimistic as I continue waiting. I was really waiting for my wife's AP more than anything but now she (understandably) is skittish about traveling home even if she gets it.
