That’s great! Have you not had them until now? Weren’t they on your NOA1?

We hadn’t heard anything yet since sending it in. So last night we finally got our NOA1 via text message :)

Just got a weird letter from USCIS in the mail. It just says that USCIS is processing my I-131. I am so disappointed. I thought I’d be an approval notice for my EAD. Why did I get this now? It’s an NOA, but I’ve already received my NOA1 for my AP and it clearly states that “this notice is not an approval of your pending application”.  I figure it’s to say that they have resumed processing after my RFIE. It also says that I won’t have to redo my BIO. It’s just so weird that it was only for my AP.

And like I said: I was so disappointed because I really thought it would be an approval notice. I was about to listen to my EAD playlist on Spotify (yes I’ve made one of those😂)

I got the same letter. 🤦‍♀️ But I also got my Interview date for April 20th. Here's the thing tho. On the letter it says to bring Form-693, which is another medical. Is that on every letter for an interview, or do I need to get another medical exam? Because I already submitted one with my papers.

From what I understand, that form was completed by the doctor who performed your physical. You should be able to contact the doctor and see if they can send you a copy. I’m not sure about this though, so if I’m wrong please correct me!

I sent them a copy and I have the original at home. I'll just call them tomorrow to ask. I'm a little worried, because I needed one more vaccine, but the doctor in my country kept telling me I didn't need it, so he refused to do it back then. So that might be a problem. Just to be safe I'll probably go and get another one. I'm so ready to be done with this.

The I-693 is the whole thing that was in the sealed envelope you handed to CBP. No need to worry about that, it should be in your file and you don't need to do anything. The appointment letter is a one fits all letter. There are other people who had to do a medical here and they'll have to bring that stuff. If you filed for AOS no longer than one year after your overseas medical you should be fine.

The only thing you should have gotten at your medical is the vaccination sheet. If that is marked as complete than you also don't need to get more vaccinations and you just bring that sheet to your interview.

Omg, I really hope so. I don't feel like spending money on a medical 5 months after I did one. 🙄🙅‍♀️ Calling USCIS first thing tomorrow.

EAD finally approved! The visa journey estimate was very accurate for me, waited 108 days.

CONGRATULATIONS!! What was your estimate? Your timeline doesn’t show an estimate anymore since you’ve been approved. My estimate starts tomorrow and runs until the beginning of April

It's been showing March 21 - April 10 for the longest time ever and then it went to March 15 last week. Yesterday I got the weekly estimate from VisaJourney saying it could be any day. Well I didn't get excited yet becuse so many December filers got approved way before me, but here it is! I-131 status hasn't changed yet.

your case looks same with mine. I got noa 1 on the 14th Nov and also I  just got an update that I-131 fingerprint was taken.

You got any update??

No, except I just got a letter in the mail from USCIS reiterating that they are processing my wife's I-131 and using the fingerprints she gave in December.

Me too. And we got our texts about I-131 on the same day. Our cases are eerily similiar right now. Which I think us receiving the letters has to do with the recent status update about our AP fingerprints. Turns out A LOT of people got those alerts. Even people who already received their combo cards.
