Same situation. It's been 4 months already since my EAD NOA1. 😑😑😑 I started applying and getting calls from recruiters, but when they ask about my work auth, I would say I am still waiting on it, and they would immediately move on to other candidates. It's just really frustrating.

Yeah, that's the same as my Husband. Gosh i feel like immigration has our lives on hold :(

Really hoping to see my EAD soon. All my estimates are telling me it should be in March. I just recently got the RFIE received update (3/2), but according to something I just recently found on USCIS it shouldn't make a huuuge difference that it took me a month to submit my evidence. Swedish authorities were not working with me for this evidence lol.

"If USCIS receives a response, or the time to submit a response elapses, the case shall be returned to its original processing place. Returning the file to the original processing place will normally make the case ready for immediate adjudication." (https://www.uscis.gov/ilink/docView/AFM/HTML/AFM/0-0-0-1/0-0-0-1067/0-0-0-1749.html

I interpret this like cases are primarily processed chronologically (or supposed to), which I know is not always the case. If it's somewhat chronological I should be okay seeing as I sent it in in November. November filers should be (and have been) receiving their EADs now.

Sorry this is so rambling. I feel like this process is making me stir crazy🤣 How do y'all interpret the quote above?

Based on that snippet, that would be my understanding too.

I got it maybe 5 or 10 minutes after you. I just used the case tracker app to check the I-131s with case numbers closest to me and the absolute majority just says "Case received". I thought it was so weird that it just came out of the blue, 2.5 months after my bio.

Same thing happened to me! It's nice to see movement after 3 months. Let's hope this means Ead is coming soon!

They received the response to my rfie on feb 18th and since then .... nothing ! And I’m getting so anxious ..... what was your rfie for if you don’t mind me asking

About form i-864, when we sent documents we didnt send paystubs and job letter so they asked for proof of that and they asked for a co sponsor because of that, he makes enough but we wanted to play on the safe side so we decided to tell my mother in law to be co sponsor so I sent back his paystubs, job letter, another form of i-864 with my in laws information and her W2’s and job letter I also sent back a cover letter because we didnt send information about a bona fide marriage (they didnt ask for it, but i explained in the letter I sent it in case they needed more info from us) I sent proof when he had me on his insurance, 11 pictures of our relationship and a copy of the birth certificate of our daughter (we have been married for 2+ years and we have a baby now) and that was it

also I  just got an update that I-131 fingerprint was taken.

You got any update??

Same here!  Now we’re wondering if there is a known timetable for steps after this, even if it’s just estimates. Patiently, but anxiously waiting for the next status change. :)

I know firsthand that USCIS doesn’t always update so I’m hoping for the same thing lol. I got my RFIE without an update, so I’m hoping it’ll be the same with my EAD (only it’ll be a positive surprise this time😂). I check my mailbox like 4 times a day!
