I received a letter asking to re-submit form i-864. Unfortunately i put my wife's name on page 3 o 4 where i'm supposed to put the sponsor. On the letter they are asking to submit tax income for the latest year. being that we are on Jan 2020 does anybody know if I need to submit taxes for the year 2019 or do you guys think that if I submit the year 2018 taxes should be good enough. Thanks before hand.

I would send both (if it doesn't hurt your case in case your income decreased). When available I always send the extra information. With USCIS I feel like it's always best to be on the safe side! Hope your case gets back to moving soon!

My RFIE is similar I submitted the wrong affidavit of support. We sent in W2’s 2017,2018,2019 the recent tax income for 2018 because my husband didn’t file for 2019 yet along with Pay stubs, A copy of his passport page, birth certificate and a cover letter

We received a RFIE this year as well. We submitted 2018 tax return since we didn’t want to wait for all of our documents to come in for 2019.

did it take long to receive the actual letter?  I received a RFIE on the 23rd (January). However, I have yet to receive the letter and it stresses me out

I’ve been seeing letters are taking longer than mine did. I also didn’t receive any notification a letter was coming so I wasn’t tracking how long it took to get to me. You will likely receive yours by early next week.

Hi! I'm wondering how long it takes (on average) between bio appt. and a case update. So either a RFIE or a "Case is ready to be scheduled" update.  I had my bio almost exactly one month ago (Dec 27th) and I still haven't heard anything. I check my status multiple times a day, not like I have anything better to do at the moment lol.

Hi, I had my bio appointment same day and also nothing yet... also trying to be patient. 32 days

Ugh the wait sucks. I’m expecting an RFIE because I made a mistake. If that’s the case I just want to get it now so I can fix it and get my case back on track. I had to cut back on the number of times I check my staus daily. I’d look at it every 20 minutes which drove me insane. I’ve limited myself to 3 times a day now. 20 minutes left til my 5 pm check-in, hoping for good news😜

Our time will come it just sucks waiting when it seems like everyone’s cases are moving forward one way or another😓 November seems to be in good luck tho!

Good luck in your case!!! Hopefully you could hear something about it soon!!! We received the case update about the RFE on 21 and the hard copy came through the mail 2 days later... we reply them yesterday through Fedex and now waiting to be on track again!!!

Waiting also for mine. We sent it Monday and USPS already notify me that they received it yesterday but don't hear anything yet from USCIS

Hey guys,

Keeping up to date with this thread. Our Docs were received on Nov 22nd. Bio was Dec 16th.

Just got my interview scheduled on the 27th Jan (Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview received 22nd) pretty quick! Waiting to see when the interview is so I can schedule my medical beforehand.

This place is a life savior and great for my sanity.

No update from USCIS yet. It still says Fingerprints received, it has for 33 days now. I talked to USCIS this morning and they said it was well within normal processing time for Montgomery (they meant GC as a whole). Unfortunately an office in Fort Benning, GA just closed down and all their cases went to Montgomery. So I don’t think I’ll hear anything for a while😞
