We didn't receive a notification and unfortunately I don't remember the exact date on the letter. I believe there was less than a week between us receiving the letter and the day it was generated. Sometimes mail can be slow so you will likely get your letter by the end of next week.

I hope your is a quick fix!!

Thanks for the response :) well i guess i just need to check and wait everyday 😊 hoping also that iy will be an easy fix one.

So what is your RFIE for? Still anxious about it lol! I always check my email for  USPS notification every morning just to know if they already have it but until now they don't have. I just hope that mine was just an easy fix one.. 😊

I submitted the wrong affidavit of support form (form I-134) that one was for the K1 VISA :( meanwhile in my cover letter and everything else I wrote form I-864 sigh but my husband (yes I’m blaming HIM!) lol had form I-134 on his laptop and we ended up using that without reading.

We haven't gotten the notification yet, but I'm 99% sure we'll get an RFIE. I sent in my Swedish BC, but didn't get it signed and stamped 🙃 An unsigned BC worked in the K1 process, but I know they are more though now. I've read that alot  of Swedes have gotten RFIE's for that. I'm ordering one now so I'm prepared when the RFIE comes.

Hey Guys,

Great news our case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.. Seems to be moving rather quickly for us. We submmited in Mid Oct but had to resubmit due to an issue with the fee. The NOA Date for everything was mid Nov. Fingerprints in Early Dec and updated status for the AOS in late Jan. This seems to be following the general timeline that I am seeing and hope we have an interview date soon or an approved EAD. We are in DC so it may take some time for the interview. I simply can't believe that the case is now ready and things are moving along. We did receive a notice about the missing medical exam and the letter was dated Jan 10th so they really are moving on our case and sending great updates. Wishing you all good news/ updates soon.

Amazing! We are from DC as well! But still no news at all :((

What was it for?

We got the hard copy of the RFE today and it was about the birth certificate and its translation, (and although we already sent it alongside with the AOS package since the beginning ), we sent it back  again right away with its corresponding translation. Hopefully this time they don't 'lose' it.

Our case has been updated to 'ready to be scheduled for an interview'. NOA date is the 25th November so as of right now things are moving much quicker than expected. Hopefully the trend will continue. We are in Orlando, FL. Hope everyone else waiting hears something soon.

Hi! I'm wondering how long it takes (on average) between bio appt. and a case update. So either a RFIE or a "Case is ready to be scheduled" update.  I had my bio almost exactly one month ago (Dec 27th) and I still haven't heard anything. I check my status multiple times a day, not like I have anything better to do at the moment lol.

Just got email saying I-485 interview ready for scheduling.

NOA date was Nov. 21, so this is faster than I expected.   Not sure how long it takes though from now until they actually schedule the interview.

months - up to 2 years. Did you check your local offices typical waiting time for the process ?
