May I ask what you sent back to them for the RFE? Did you do a cover letter? Did you send additional information?

I sent back the documents listed in the letter, including a copy of each page of the letter, without adding a cover letter.

Wow congrats! That's pretty quick, no? Is Detroit pretty quick with interview scheduling?

Yes! I’ve noticed that Detroit is pretty quick. Good luck :)

Hi! I don't know if this post is allowed here, but I figured we are all in the same boat so this would be the place to ask. How is everybody dealing with the unemployment? I HATE not being able to work. My husband makes enough money to support us, but money is a constant worry. Him being our sole provider puts a lot of pressure on him, and I hate that. I knew I would have to wait to work, but it's just been a lot harder than I imagined. I try to find things to do, but I'm limited to the house because we only havee one car. How is everyone else holding up?

It's encouraging to see cases moving forward here! It does help a lot!

Same exact boat. It’s hard like really hard.

Very difficult... personally and in terms of not being an equal partner in the financial side. I was living with my spouse way before we got married (left to home country during I129F processing and then came back) so it's been an issue for me for a long time. My solution to that was finding any job I could from home with employment from my home country. So I work from home (2 jobs), I don't make much at all but it's at least something small so I can take care of my accounts. Hopefully we will all be able to work soon and build our own independence here.

Am I the only one who filed in November and hasn’t received a biometrics schedule yet? I’m so happy for everyone who had done it already or are just waiting for interview schedule. It’s a bit frustrating that I see people who filed December and January and have done them already. Oh well, I’ll never understand how USCIS do it and all I can do is wait patiently. :)
