Just received our RFE for completing the incorrect version of the I-864. Apparently we competed an October 15, 2019 version of the form that they won’t accept. We’ll submit the correct form tomorrow and like my husband said, at least there’s some activity.

Hi all, just an update.

I received an email about my i485 that my status changed to RFIE. It didn't say what it was so I'm just gonna wait for the letter.

What was your RFIE for?

We received one as well.

It may take a little longer since the holidays were during that time. Mine were Dec. 27 also waiting... timing also depends on your field office

I am stressed out.

So this is what I need to submit accdg to my RFIE. We used a joint sponsor which is my mother-in-law, and she can't provide 2018 returns and W2s because we already submitted it initially (and I didn't know that she didn't make copies). Do we really need to send it again when we already did? USCIS already have them with my original application, and my MIL worries a lot about her info being out there which I understand.

I was feeling like I was the only idiot to make this mistake! It wasn’t our fault at all. I blame them but it was an easy RFIE to fix and I sent it the next day (yesterday).
