Hey, everyone. I just have a quick question regarding form I-864.

In Part 5 Line 1: Persons you're sponsoring in this affidavit ( I'm the only person sponsored) : 1

In Part 5 Line 2: Persons NOT sponsored in this affidavit. Yourself: 1

My question is: What do we put on Line 3: If you're currently married enter 1 for your spouse. (Do we put 1 again?)

And then the household size should be two, right?

Thank you! ☺️

This confused me too! But your household size should be two, you and your U.S citizen. Since you’re excluding person sponsored on the affidavit (you) you don’t put anything for married. They made it really confusing😅

Plot twist: my husband DID receive all three texts at the same time, but only texted and told me about the first one (he was at work when he got them). 🙄 Even when I told him I was worried about two missing. Thank you for all your help with my problem, that apparently never was a problem. There’s a reason I’m the one handling this process and all the paperwork😅😂

Okay, thank you so much. Some parts are so confusing, I feel like an idiot. 😁

Anyone who filed for AOS 1st week of Nov. who doesn't have their biometrics appointment yet? Been anxiously waiting for the letter in the mail. No luck as of yet.

It says in I-864 instructions page 7: "Make sure you do not count any individual more than once."

How long did it take for people to receive the biometrics letter? USPS Daily Digest is showing I'm receiving another USCIS letter this morning from the National Benefits Center and it seems pretty early since we received our two NOA1 letters early last week. Hoping it's not an RFE or something bad.

It *was* the biometrics appointment letter. So damn fast!

Hello guys,

We mailed our package on November 10th, it was delivered to Chicago on November 14th. As of today it’s complete silence and checks are not cashed. Is it normal? Getting really worried.

I'm really disappointed for other people considering we've had everything turn around in less than two weeks including the biometrics letter. I can't imagine why everyone else is having such delays when they submitted before us.

I mean I see that most of the people here mailed AOS based on K1 visa. We filled based on approved I-130 for qualifying relative, plus we filled 245(i), so this is not a simple case, but still, it’s been over 3 weeks 😩
