We submitted our documents on October 25th to NVC and still waiting to hear back with a DQ.

Their website says " As of 25-NOV-2019, we are reviewing documents submitted to us on 7-OCT-2019."

Considering the CEAC system was down from October 11th until ~October 21st, I assume no submission were made during that time, correct? Hopefully that means they will be working submissions of October 21st by next week, if not already.

OMG i pray you are right. My anxiety levels are thru the roof with seeing how inconsistent their approvals are. When I see people being approved a few days after submission and others having to wait forever, it freaks me out lol

Really, days after submitting. I was relying on their timeline. Does this mean that the estimates are incorrect?

I believe in some cases are correct, but in some cases aren't.  There are some people I saw in different forum (and even in this forum), their cases got DQ just after few days.  It seems like a mystery.

I often wonder if it has something to do with the country of the beneficiary.

I finally have an update... My husband finally got his police report yesterday a month after he made his request, he emailed it to me today, and I uploaded and submitted all documents to the NVC. So now I wait again.....Every stage of waiting seems impossible, but I got this far 😎

That’s good news, my mom still haven’t receive her smh it’s so messy. Question did you already submitted some documents, is it possible to submit additional document before they review the case .

Yes, I submitted all the other documents but nothing was reviewed because I did not have the police report uploaded and submitted.

Just fyi, we filed for an expedite last week. The last update we received on the expedite request was an email saying its under review on Friday.
no update after that, but we got the dq email today instead.
also made lots of calls to nvc. on the last call my husband was informed that our dq must be near and today it was here 😃!
not really sure if all of this helped or they just dq’ed us in the normal processing time, just sharing!

how did you expedite your case? what was the reasoning.

I was thinking about that, but I don’t think it’s true since there are few people in my country got DQ in couple days, and my cases still hasn’t been DQ yet.

Hello VJ Family, our i130 got approved on the 23rd of October and we got A letter from NVC today 26th of November.

So my questions are:

1. In the letter this was written there ( If you are logging into CEAC for the first time, please be aware that it can take up to three days (72 hours) from receipt of this notice for your account to be activated. Once activated, you can log into CEAC using the following unique NVC case number and Invoice Identification Number.)

Does this mean we can't do anything yet till after 72hours.

2. I signed in and saw the 3 steps, which started with pay fees. I saw the choose agent option but i couldn't click on it, why is this? That's what we are supposed to do first right? Someone please put me through.

3. How do we pay the fees?.

I will be glad if anyone drops any helpful tips or comments. Thank you. And Good luck to us on our Journey.

xoxo ❤

It should already be active, try logging in. Mine said the same thing, but I was able to login right away.

Once you login, there is a link through which you pay IV Fee & AOS Fees (separately) using a US Bank account.

Hope that helps.
