My case was approved from USCIS on June 28th

Seven n a half month after i submitted the petition

They transferred it to NVC at July 3 n NVC received it on July 11

But it took them two more months to creat my case number means september

So it takes time

Meanwhile all calls to them were useless untill we did an email.

You should email both of them

Our case was solved after email

Hope this helps

Hey!  I called both USCIS and NVC twice, and like you said, both times it was useless.  I emailed both on Nov. 15.  USCIS sent me a generic reply yesterday.  This is what it says:

After reviewing your inquiry, we have determined that the case type you are inquiring about is not currently supported by the USCIS online filing system; therefore, please contact the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283 (Hearing Impaired TDD Customer Service: 1-800-767-1833).

And NVC still didn't respond!!!  Who did you email?  NVC or USCIS?
Thanks!!!

My I-130 approved septemper 25, USCIS didn't send it until October 28, NVC recieved November 6, so don't worry it might take upto 6 weeks. And you can call USCIS and speak to an officer as he will have access tonknow if your case was sent out from USCIS or not.

Hello!  I'm starting to form a hypothesis?  Were you by any chance at Texas Service Center and with an IOE number?  I think IOE Texas numbers may be delayed more than others for some reason or other.  Thanks for giving me hope :)

I think when they initially started the pilot program there were issues between electronically linking the approved IOE petitions with NVC...

I heard they literally hand no link between the two systems, not sure as to how much truth was behind it, but was some months ago when the chatter was happening and a heap of IOE delays at NVC stage because of it... although it may have been purposely done by USCIS given the IOE process appears faster and the backlog of old style petitions still in processing within the old system..

either way, like I said it was maybe 3 months ago when this chatter was occurring, chances are that’s been resolved by now if it was true

Oh wow are you serious!?  That's crazy!  How do they not know how to link the two systems?!???  I hope it was resolved!!!!!  Thanks for letting me know!  My petition is an IOE petition at Texas service center.

Waaa I thought i was the only one who has not received the case no yet,,,,,, I called the USCIS and I was told to wait for 90 days,, that the time they usually take to transfer the case to nvc,,,,, but I also called the NVC  en they said I should write to them a email with my scanned approved i130 receipt to nvc research@state.govt

Hi!  Same exact!  They told me that on the phone!  I sent them my scanned approval on Nov. 15 at that email address.  Still no reply :(  Did they reply to you?  When did you email them?  And when was ur case approved?  What service center?  IOE number?  I have a feeling Texas Service Center with IOE numbers are having the most issues!

And here I thought it was just Texas IOE numbers.  I hope you hear something soon.  Let me know what happens with you.  If you decide to call USCIS or NVC again, ask them if they placed you in a piloting program.  They said that they placed me in one :(

So I'm looking at the vaccines required and my wife is suggesting that I get them done before the medical. Think that makes sense?

I'm having my husband do the same for the ones he doesn't have already. Make sure you're only getting the ones required for your age though so you don't waste money on ones you don't need to get! https://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/pdf/Vaccine-Requirements-According-to-Applicant-Age.pdf

Our CR1 Journey:

  • Sep 19 2019: I130 NOA2 (Approved - 217 days from NOA1)

NVC Stage:

  • Sep 27 2019: Sent to Department of State
  • Oct 31 2019: Case number received (34 days since sent)
  • Nov 1 2019: IV & AOS fees received & paid
  • Nov 14 2019: IV & AOS submitted
  • Dec 18 2019: All docs accepted, but one additional doc requested (5 weeks from submission)
  • Dec 18 2019: Requested doc submitted

Thanks a lot I'll check it out but based on this there are a lot of vaccines I don't need based on my age.
