Hi guys can’t find answer anywhere if I use a joint sponsor does it matter if her passport has new last name (she just got married after filing taxes) and do I need proof of domicile? We both live in U.S don’t know if that only applies for people who live in another country

Did you ever contact NVC about that random 2nd case creation email?

I was trying but no luck to get hold of them.  I just received a case creation letter that send to my house today, exactly the same with the email that we received.  Don’t know why.

Hey everyone! I-130 was approved on oct 25 and still nothing.  Nvc didn’t receive anything and I’m starting to get worried that our paperwork was somehow lost.  Anyone else approved my USCIS around that time?  Pls share experiences and thanksss

My case was approved from USCIS on June 28th

Seven n a half month after i submitted the petition

They transferred it to NVC at July 3 n NVC received it on July 11

But it took them two more months to creat my case number means september

So it takes time

Meanwhile all calls to them were useless untill we did an email.

You should email both of them

Our case was solved after email

Hope this helps

Just submitted my documents yesterday. Anybody here who submitted within the last week and already got DQ? How long is NVC taking to review documents on average?

People ask this question a lot, and if you check their website it estimates around 6-8 weeks. At the same time the way NVC operates has always been a confusing topic, I’m not sure if they just do things at random or if they actually have a system in place.

My documents were reviewed in just 2 days, and I’m not the only one that’s had it that quick. Yet I see many other waiting a couple of months just for 1 lousy document to get approved.

So my answer might be frustrating: Maybe tomorrow or maybe 2 months from now. I hope sooner!

How were you notified that you were DQ? As with most of us here we have had to actively wait so just want to be sure 😁
