we submitted ours on october 22 also.  We originally submitted it on september 10 but we recieved notification to upload the same thing, which we did on october 22.  No word yet.....  It looks like we wont get interview letter until February 2020 with our fingers crossed.  I was hoping to have DQ and interview scheduled by now.  This process is not easy.

I Hope and Pray that they will review our case this week or next week🙏. So that we will able to get our interview by February🙏.

Finished submitting docs to NVC 10/23 ; got the email today that we’re moving on to the interview stage!!

I know the amount of time until the actual interview varies big time from embassy to embassy. But when can I expect to at least know what the date will be? Whether it’s going to be Jan 2020 or October 2020, I just want to know so I can get it on our calendars!

What does your status say on caec website now? Did it change from forms submitted?

NVC Expedite:

For those who have requested an expedite due to medical reasons, how long did it take for your local Embassy to respond (Note: Our local Embassy is the Bogota, Colombia Office). Here's our timeline:

Nov 8 - NVC Expedite Email sent (Submitted late at 6pm EST)

Nov 14 - Email received stating "We are reviewing your request for expedited processing of this immigrant visa petition. We will notify you with the results when the review is complete. Please note that only the U.S. Embassy has the ability to approve or deny expedite requests." (Note: The first business day at NVC was the 12th, so this is ~2 business days later)

Here it is Nov 21 (5 business days later) and still there has not been a response from the Embassy with regards to the Expedite Request. Based on this persons experience in 2017, the response was 2 business days

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

You are welcome .

upload everything you think they can ask even small things

we didn’t thought about tax transcripts because my husband is navy retired and we submitted his 3 last years 1099R/1095

when they ask documents the second time  for example They just asked his late wife death certificate and my husband asked if they want the first divorce decree and they said yes and ask a proof of domicile ( which they did at asked ) so it’s like they are not organised or they do that on purpose .
it’s a complete mess ..

Thank you very much 🙏 I appreciate your kind words .

if I can help I do that with pleasure . So many people did the same for me since 16 months . So that is my turn 😁

nonce we will receive the transcript from IRS and do our resubmission i hope they will not take again 6 weeks .
but right now I think no  IL before February/ March if my resubmission is ok .
if it keep going like that we will arrive at 2 years since we submitted our I-130

it’s very sad to show such disrespect to people because to me it’s disrespectful to make us waiting so long . Anyway ...

i hope you will hear from them very soon 🤞

Hey Everyone, Hello Mr&MrsT :),

This is our concern too. That they would ask for more documents before going through the whole file. So you get a message saying you have to sent a doc, you send it asap, they then goback on your file, something else is missing and you get a message about it - again, so on...

So I will definitely follow your piece of advice.

Take care you all,

Alix

Hello @Alix64 😁

yes add everything you think they will maybe need . « Mieux vaut trop que pas assez » as we say .

they ask something and then you call them and they tell you that they need again something else ..

so Sadly it’s up to us to guess what they gonna need .
good luck and take care !

I agree! We had the same issue like your case 1 regarding petitioner's marriage termination doc. I wish it was included on the list when we submitted originally 😢

I think the travel state does request for marriage termination documents, you can find it here:

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/collect-and-submit-forms-and-documents-to-the-nvc/step-5-collect-supporting-documents.html

I guess the problem is that it is not listed in the CEAC website, sorry :(

I think you should be fine..

im getting worried about proof of domicile now.. I didn’t upload anything specific to it e.g driver licence showing address... but did give 3 yrs tax, bio page, birth certificate and a letter from his employer to show still working for them etc you’d think that proves he’s there, but some of the stories I’m reading are getting me scared 😟

I think this thread is making everyone paranoid 😅 me included...

I am sorry...I do not understand when you said no more credit card so the IRS website do not remember him anymore? I get everything by online. Nothing about credit card. Tax transcript is only contain your tax return information but in less complicated version. Maybe you want to ask your husband to dig deeper about it because really...I do not even have to wait for a minute to get 3 years tax transcripts 😉

My FIL was the same he couldn't get tax transcript online because he doesn't have a credit card or a mortgage anymore
