Oh wow seriously?

They wont accept document that have simply been scanned downloaded and saved to PDF? What about the downloaded transcript from irs? Your printing and rescanning on dark background those too?

No the IRS transcripts i will submit them as they are, but for other documents that's what iam doing to make sure that all the documents borders are visible, this is what i thought i can do to avoid this issue.

Our fees were withdrawn this morning also, but still shows "In Process". Im following your timeline since were both I. Brazil, in the same stage, and both qualify for a IR1 green card. Do you know if the NVC schedules our interview or do we schedule it on the AIS Visa website? I keep getting mixed reviews?

they assign the interview, one cannot choose the date, I think it's the biometrics and medical appts that you can choose but not the interview

Household member and a joint sponsor are different from each other. A household member cant be a joint sponsor. I-864a is not for joint sponsor. I-864a is a form for an agreement between sponsor and sponsor's household member.

I made a mistake with my application. I added my sponsor's father as a joint sponsor while they have the same residency address. it was rejected. I had to add him as a household member of my sponsor.

Wait, what.. so you added a sponsor and his father as a co-sponsor? which forms did they fill?

They will accept scanned PDF documents; I think what they were saying is just that the borders of documents kept getting cut off on their scanner so they’re taking pictures instead

Wait, what.. so you added a sponsor and his father as a co-sponsor? which forms did they fill?

First, my wife filed I-864 and her dad filed I-864.

I added my wife as a sponsor, her dad as a joint sponsor. I received a message from nvc saying that her dad needs to be a household member not to be a joint sponsor since they had the same physical adress. Nvc said add her dad as a household member not a joint sponsor and upload I-864a. I tried to add him as a household member but CAEC website gave me a message said that you can’t add him because he is already a joint sponsor, so I added his I-864a under joint sponsor. 3 weeks later after I uploaded the form, I called nvc. They told me on the phone that I did wrong and I had to write a letter that would say that I want my father in law to be removed from joint sponsor. And send it via nvcask form. I did it too.

My wife changed her physical adress 2 weeks ago, so her dad can be a joint sponsor. I called nvc again 1 week ago, told them my wife changed her adress. Nvc told me to upload a new document that would say the change of adress and my wife’s father and my wife don’t share the same physical adress so he can be a joint sponsor.  I submitted this document on November 2th. I guess I need to wait another 6 weeks to hear something from them.

Just be careful while uploading documents, Just delays the process!

Why did she have to move? Couldn't you just add him as household member?

I seriously hate the DS260... 😡 every time I try to save before moving to next page, it boots me, losing all information entered and forces me to log back in and start over 😭😭😭
