I submitted my documents September 30, and approve at October 1, but they reject my mom police certificate. I re submitted October 4. And now waiting more then 1 month.

Same here, my friend. I uploaded documents on October 6th, a day later, NVC approved everything except that NVC said my wife's father cant be joint sponsor, he needs to be a household member since they have the same principal adress. Resubmitted more documents on October 8th. still waiting.

Waiting is so frustrating but we will here good news soon too!!

That’s probably because you added it on the weekend. We did the same thing and the joint sponsor’s document uploading section got updated Monday morning in the USA, when their workday begins. Even though it said it’ll be active in an hour.

Makes sense, ah that sucks though! Wish they would just say on working day, oh well hopefully it’ll be up tomorrow for us then, assuming not today since the holiday

Hi everyone, just to be sure, the form i-864a for spouse of joint sponsor should be uploaded under additional documents of joint sponsor right?

And would you advise to upload pictures and whatsapp chat at NVC stage?

On the home page, there should be an option next to the AOS stuff that says “add household member”, I believe that’s how you do that. If you have evidence of bona fide marriage that you didn’t get to include with the I130 you can sideload that now at NVC yes

Still havent submitted DS260 but compiling the rest of the documents.

Do we need to upload 2x2 photographs with the IV application?

The website doesn't say, only mentions about bringing pics to interview. My interview would be scheduled a year from CC.

Once you submit the ds-260, it will tell you what documents you need to upload. Photograph(the 2X2 picture) is one of the civil documents you will have to submit.

Thank you, yes I agree I don't think the travel state website mentions uploading pics along with civil documents.

I think I only found out from this thread but honestly with 22 pages I found it hard to find the exact post.

We just downloaded a passport photo app on our phone, took pic with flash against our white bedroom wall, and uploaded since we also didn’t know and didn’t want to waste time going out to do it 😂

I submitted on Oct 22 also, I wouldn't be surprised if it takes several more weeks to get a response. The lucky people who get approved in less than a week are the exception, not the usual.

Esponjoso, i am from Masrid too and we sent documents on oct 23rd. Lets see if we get good news at the same time,
