The time is dependent on the embassy. Jamaica ain't that expeditious so it may be days to weeks before they notify you.
Has your package left NVC. Have you been tracking when it arrived at embassy and emailed the embassy.

CEAC still says At NVC, I wasn’t sure if the status would say shipped or only change once it’s been accepted at the Embassy.  I will keep monitoring CEAC for updated statuses.  Thanks again

Possible. Since they are just getting to end of September DQ's for December dates. And December and January doesn't have alot of slots for immigration interviews since it's travel season and vacation time for many CO's so staff is less also.
Nigeria especially usually picks up middle of January.

I hope they'll schedule interview for January

There was no $165 at NVC. What fee are you referring to. Also no need to get another police report because the embassy will have what was submitted. Since it was submitted before expiring a Police certificate is good for 1 year. They want the original of what you submitted.

There's no $220 you pat at any Immigration interview. There's no fees. The $220 is the Immigration fee you pay after you receive your Visa and you can go online and pay before you leave the country or when you arrive.

Your friend lied. I know for a fact Lagos does not even take money for nothing. That's funny there's no Immigration fee paid for anything at the embassy. You have to pay online and it's after you receive your Visa.

Hmmm I will ask her again about when her husband paid the $220..She was adamant that he paid there..the day of the interview..she never paid anything herself online and I dont think she had a reason to lie but I will double check to make sure I didnt misunderstand her
