Hello. I am getting my husband’s folder ready for his interview. Still waiting on interview letter but I want to get a head start. Can somebody please share how they organized the packet for the interview? Thanks in advance.

Just put it together how you like making sure the required documents are all together because they will hand those over before they even go in Embassy. Easy access to anything is the key. I had originals of everything that was submitted just in case there was a question.

My husband had a binder that had a shoulder strap, with pockets and sleeves putting everything I could think of Tax returns, tax transcripts, my divorce decree, more updated evidence (chats, IM's even though I was living there.) he also carried in two photo album easy access to take out pictures if need be.

Hi!

Just received IL yesterday; I will have my interview in Stockholm on December 18. However, I don't feel like we got specific instructions on what to bring to the interview. Could someone help explain to me what original documents I need to bring from my spouse and joint sponsor in the US? I have my own documents already. (Why do I need original docs from my wife etc. when she is not here?

Thank you!

Original Documents are all the beneficiaries that were submitted at NVC. They need the originals that were uploaded.

What do you mean Embassy switch Nov. 7. So you were assigned an interview, then it was cancelled. Did you follow your petition to the embassy? Did it ever arrive there? Have you emailed the embassy to inquire?

I would call NVC back and ask for a supervisor.

Our embassy was switched to Port of Spain officially on Nov. 7th with a new case number, instead of BMB now PTS.  We moved to Trinidad and Tobago now as my family is from here as well.

I was communicating with the PTS embassy here by email. But as of earlier this month they stopped responding totally.  They said they'll switch the embassy.

It didn't arrive there.  It's at the NVC.  Embassy didn't reply me and they totally don't respond which is strange.  I hope embassy is not angry, because I did send a bunch of emails asking why no replies.Screenshot_20191126-174121__01__01.thumb.jpg.2a7b76bf3979c14ab2b5ed743086ee88.jpg

I’m not sure really, I’ve seen people get there IL for London in as little as two weeks after DQ. But there is no constant pattern. So hope for the best I guess is all we can do!

hey! I saw you just updated your timeline, when did you receive the interview notice, is it today (I saw NVC left date for Nov 26 but never know what that means)? Thanks for your reply.

This is Stockholm's page, with all the answers you could ever want on it :) I've had it bookmarked for awhile now, just waiting for my husband's turn, lol. And the only original doc of your wife's you should need (other than your own marriage cert) would be any divorce decree if she was married previously. They need to be sure your marriage is legal since that is what the green card issuance is based on. Everything else can just be copies, I believe.
