It was amazing how we had pretty much same dates/timeline for everything throughout the process. I am hoping that we get interview in January/February next year.

Finally we can put this chapter behind us and start planning our future.

That means my sojourn in Yaounde ends today.

Been here since Monday.

Leaving for my base in Douala immediately after collecting passport at 15:00.

I hope we get our IL soon what is your prediction in regards to time and waiting? Is your local US embassy busy? I think mine in Stockholm is not so heavily under pressure like embassies in countries where the population is higher, along with this type of demand, but I honestly have no idea what to think. It's definitely hard to plan anything at this point.

Based on the recent trends, you may get the interview in February/March 2020. They are scheduling August DQs for December.

I want to be wrong here. It all depends on the country/consulate. The Mumbai consulate is heavily backlogged. They are giving interviews for August DQs for December. You may don't have to wait that long. ☺️

Look at the timelines here on VJ to get the estimate.
