Yes my mom is under Dakar Senegal jurisdiction. DQ was on July 10th just a couple days before you and still waiting for an interview. Ridiculous. But mind you Dakar is a very busy embassy as they service Guinea Bissau (immigrant), Guinea Conakry (immigrant), The Gambia (all visa atm), Mauritania, Mali plus of course Senegal n it’s residents and previously Sierra Leone and Cameroon but not any more for those two countries for the past couple years. So yes Senegal US embassy is the busiest in Africa along with Ghana and Cairo and one of the busiest embassies for processing in the world.

Thank you for your response. At least now I know it is not only me. I agree Dakar Embassy is very busy. Hopefully we hear something soon Insha Allah.

So I happened to look at the NVC site today.  They are working on files received on September 25th.  Are there any October submitters that are getting anxious over the next few weeks?  I am freaking out of course because I submitted mine on the 5th and it may make next week reviews or the following week.  This is very stressful!!   Good luck to everyone else!!

Yes bro in sha Allah very soon. When it comes to Dakar US embassy you dump your documents there n jus forget about it for like 6 months lol. I knew some folks that went through Dakar and it took such long time that I forgot about them and just boom they left for USA.

It’s minus 1 today so very soon inn sha Allah.

With all my experiences at nvc and others I know the average and majority of the time is 3 weeks after you submit all required documents.
And another thing that majority of the applicants don’t do to facilitate document delivery is:

if a document is being rejected or you don’t have it, just select unavailable in the upload section and when the interview comes, you can take it to speed up the process. This only applies to civil documents etc not financial or AOS docs.

So our embassy requires us to register our appointment. However when I log in at aid.usvisa-info.com as directed to complete the process it states the message below. Anyone else receive this message or know anything about this?

Congratulations on the interview date!!! I've heard that it can take a couple days for people to be able to schedule their interview in the system. Let us know when you are able to do it! All the best :)

Good evening from Sweden my fellow VJ members!

We were documentarily qualified today, but seem to be required to add a joint sponsor while our case is being transferred to the embassy and to the interview stage. I have no idea how long this remaining process could take, and now we have to look for a joint sponsor, and expect some additional review time I guess. The thing is that my partner makes more than twice the amount of the minimum income requirement, so it is very strange that we received these news. I am hoping that we find a joint sponsor very soon though. I am thinking that one reason behind this development is that my partner got this new job (with a better salary) just recently, in September. Any one with this experience? And also, how long did it take for you to get an interview letter or notification for an interview date, for those of you who recently got DQ/CC?

Thank you and good luck to all of you!

Have Ghana embassy started scheduling interviews for December yet? And do anyone know when do they schedule?

I haven't yet heard of anyone with December interview date for Ghana, but people who have already gone for their interviews say it takes about 6-7weeks from DQ, to get interview date
